Grow Mediums Autopot question ...

My first grow was with Autopots. They did a good job on the first plant I ever grew. I wasn't able to get it dialed in due to over-watering in the beginning. Never turned on the rez until late in the grow, maybe week 8 in a 11 week grow.

It did wat it said from then on it was easy to manage the rez and pot. I'll do another Autopot grow soon and tweak things and do a proper grow.

Thanks for replies. I'm going the way muddy described, been reading about different float switches (some electronic).

Decided to make a single-bucket DWC with airstone/mechanical float switch/top-up tank.

Read a lot of hydro grow diaries today, gobsmacked at how big a single plant can get.

I usually get 4-5 ounces out of four plants in soil and the same looks easily achievable (even with a low-power LED like mine) in a DWC setup.
