Grow Mediums AUTOPOT VS AUTOPOT XL

Here is what I found in one of their brochures.

I use the 15 L/3.9 gallon pot. I'd only consider the larger size if I were a master grower (which I'm not), if I could reliably expect the plant to grow BIG. Otherwise, if it's not a monster, too much space wasted. And the small size is just too small, unless you want small plants, SOG, etc.

Do those ez2gro 8.5L pots share the same footprint as the 15L?
Yes mate the 15l pots will fit in the double tray and the 8.5l pots fit in the singles. I've done it both ways and the single trays are definitely the better choice, you can spread them better if need be, if there's a problem with a plant it's isolated (nute def, roots probs etc). As as been prev mentioned if doing sog the smaller ones are the nuts but if you want a decent plant 15l pots and single tray all the way

Thanks for that Fisherboy! May have to get some of those 8.5L pots to run in the single trays.

8.5l def good for 4z dry per plant on lil cheese auto from barneys farm. Old seed I had laying about but good smoke, definitely worth considering adding the air domes, growth jumps significantly once pots filled out and turned on in my experience. You'll love them, easy peazy!

So the bottom of an 8.5 liter pot is the same dimensions as the 15l pot? That is interesting, then you could use the smaller pots in the large tray also.

Only the XL pot and base are different. The other pots and bases interchange.

And 4 15L ( 3.9 gal ) will pack a tent full, depending on strain, 2 pots can be plenty! You'll be amazed what you can grow in 15L, even using organic soil, like this girl: ( I plant in one, 15L pot )
