New Grower Auto's and C02 Question-With pics of my setup

The question I have now is about the air ventalation. If the air is getting exchanged about once every minute and half or so is that too often to effectively run a bottled c02 system?

Yes, CO2 will be totally ineffective when venting like that. All the CO2 will be sucked out before it can be of any use. Your second option, the closed environment is really the only way you will see any benefit from CO2.

Thanks for the response, I am currently trying to run it like that but the temps outside are still a bit too warm. I dont have anything growing yet as I am still in the test phase. It's 50 or so outside and both fans are on full keeping the room at 83 so until the temps cool off some more from my attic space I think this is the only option. It was cold the other day when I had it hooked up on the "closed" system so I am hoping to do c02 but dont know if it will work just have to wait and see i guess

I am dumb, some of my tape came off of my panda plastic door yesterday so it was just pulling hot air in from the other room not just from the attic. This folks is why I test things. That way I know what to watch out for so it doesnt soar up to 100F while I am not paying attention.

Hello and welcome. You are right to do some testing. These first few auto grow will be a learning experience with fun returns in a few weeks. I used 24/0 the first year or so and than switched to 20/4, been very happy with the results. What ever nutes you use the amounts will vary with the different plants. Start with less than work your way up. Experiment and have fun. Good grow karma coming your way.

Don't forget that for CO2 to be most effective your temps should run a bit higher, about 85 - 86 degrees.
