I usually veg photos, mainly to get clones for sog, while my autos are blooming. Only problem is that you end up with a stretched photo (the warm light stretches it more), so half the tent has 1 plant in scrog and the other half has its clones in sog, when the photos are left to flower.
I also veg autos while my photos flower. Again they stretch more than usual due to the warm light, but since in veg they do not need so much light, 12/12 is fine for the autos at this stage.
you only have to keep an eye on the stretch, because of the warm light, otherwise it is a very fine practice.
