New Grower Auto's and photo's nutrents

Ok I am a new grower of autos and just finishing up my first grow. I believe alot of people try to treat the nute feeding almost the same as a photo. So I had an idea.

How about trying an experiment with nutes. So pretty much we all agree that Auto's start showing sex in about 2-3 weeks. So during that time I am gonna use straight veg nutes. After sex starts showing I am gonna switch to 2/3 veg and 1/3 bloom for 2 weeks, half and half for 2 weeks 2/3 bloom and 1/3 veg for 2 weeks and straight bloom for the final phase before flush. I want to know does this make sense to anyone?
Has anyone ever tried this and what where your results? I am starting my second grow now. Only 2 plants this time. I think I can yield just as much off of 2 than I can off of 4 in the space I have. The 2 will have alot more room to grow and get more light to the plants.

Sabre, that is a good idea and I think you are right on track with what a lot of folks are doing, I know that is kind of the schedule I am going to use to some degree anyway. I plan on moving from all veg nutes to 3/4 veg and 1/4 bloom here in the next week or so. My AutoXtremes are still growing so fast I almost don't want to switch to bloom nutes because I want them to get as big as possible before they really start to go into full flower. But I think you will find that your feeding scheudle will not only work but will provide you with excelnt results, that is assuming everything else is dialed in. Also you are probably right when it comes to getting the same amount from less plants, if you take Mr. Ganjamoto's example and see that his 1 plant yielded 1000 gs dry, because he focused all of his time,effort and energy into just one plant vs. 3 or 4 having to split all of that. I have a theory that the least amount of plants the better because it takes more effort to grow more plants and if you take that same effort and apply it to less plants they will thank you for it. Mate it dont matter how you break it down every single plant goes through the exact same growth cycle its all about your setup and how hard you wanna go and it doesnt matter if the seeds are autos of regs

I have been growing photoperiod plants for almost 10 years and this is a whole different ball game. The guy who posted right above me(seymour) is probably the best Auto Grower on the planet, so anything he says I would follow exactly because he is the bombdotcom
