Hey dude make a hole about half an inch deep put the seed in very gently tail down. Recover hole with soil nice and lightly dont compress it down. Then give a nice light watering moist not wet.
You technically dont need those on yet but it gives you time to see how temps and humidity will be with your full set up running

aw okay so water the whole soil threw out? the white sprouts facing in to the soil? ah thats a thing i dont have is a temp stick or anything lol also i have extactor fan with my carbon filter but do i need like a normal desk fan in my tent aswell? here is a picture of my tent so far

The tap root should go down as sanguine stated. Soak the area directly over the seed. Even after the sprout breaks the soil surface( after 2 days or so) only water an area the size of a quarter(1" or 23mm). Let it soak straight down. You want the tap root to follow the water down at this point and not outward to the sides. The tap root is very important in getting a lot autoflowering plants to gain much size. After a week you can start to widen the watering circle and after 2 weeks you should be watering the whole pot.

Nice set up you have there. I see 5 pots! 5 plants in that size tent is going to be very very crowded. 3 would even make a very busy tent if the plants get any real size to them. Just something to think about.

I would just give a little splash around the centre of the pot. Yea that little white sprout is the tap root put it in pointing downwards. You can do without it but you get a little all in one humidity/ temperature sensor its handy to have. If you can keep temps about mid 20s celcius .
A little desktop fan is handy for air circulation around the plant and a gentle breeze helps strenghen up the stem. But aim it over the top of the plant not directly at it. You dont need it until there above ground with a couple of sets of leaves

Different strokes for different folks! I soak so the core of the pot is wet. Just like I don't use the water in a cup method for germinating. I myself get better and faster results using the wet paper towel method. 18 hrs from the start in wet paper towel to soil has been my average with 100% germination rate. I feel you can gain a whole day verses the soak in a cold glass of water method.

i see! i have planted the seeds now and i gave all my plant pots like 4 to 5 small bottle caps of water in the middle is that to much or not enough? also how often should i be watering them now? and yeah i see some folk say to much plants in small spaces is not good but ive also seen a few folk say they seem to get still more bud out of 2 extra plants than just the 3 plants? but i cant be for certain aslong as i get a few ozs ill be happy lol

aw also forgot to add should i put my light closer to the pots?

@HotBunz yea dude i germ directly in soil also never lost a sprout. Different strokes. Basically as long as you dont drown the seed youll be fine!
@haggis what size and type of light? And how close are you now
Why dont you start a journal in the new growers forum im sure me and hotbunz will follow along and help you out, not to mention all the other helpful dudes on here
