Grow Mediums Back again with the purple kush northern light autos!!

well i don't know anything about ebb&flow but it will probably be a good time to try to learn though,I have a DWC set up that i built all of my projects are DIY are for my setup ,i don't have a tent i have a interesting closet setup though i'm still alittle behind when it comes to the construction but i'm getting them done before she really starts growing out of controll (the plants tend to morph into monsters in there.....alot)i too have had a couple of plants(photoperiods&my current delicious deep purple kush auto) that started to grow weird as well, i call them vampire babies, but after some work they become:The phoenix they always seem to come out the right way everytime so i think yours will also

Checked them this morning they are doing good. Changed a few things on my intake and exhaust so I can move my light down a little. They will gain some momentum soon so I'm not too worried about it.

Oops lost take of time I guess!! Well today makes day 14. They are doing good. A few of the have twisted leaves but I should have a decent amount still. I snapped some pics from a few days ago. I'd say around day 9 or so. image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg Not quite sure why they are all sideways but I'll see next time how to fix it. I'll take pics tomorrow and post again

Well today is day 21 I think. Not much growth overall. I'm not quite sure why but they don't look 3 weeks old. I'll have to go back through some longs and compare. There are 4-5 that's are the best looking. Like these would be the ones that would get bred to make more. Very strong and robust even at this age. I turned my light up to 75% so 450w and they adjusted well. Flooding once a day with low nutes. I'm in the 300ppm range. Possibly going to bump them up to around 700-750 today. So far nothing really is happening.
On another note I hate this Rockwool stuff. I will probably never grow with it again. I got the quick draining cubes and they hold soooo much water. The only reason I'm flooding every day is to get oxygen to the roots. Here are a few pics from the set up!image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg
You can see the leaf "twist" I'm talking about in the last 2 pictures. Almost every one did that!! Weird because it was just the bottom leaves.

Hey fc sorry i haven't been keeping up lately been busy with my girl, but i know what you mean about how slow she seems to be growing but she seems to be sturdy, my girl is about 2months in and she looks like she is only 3 weeks,(but she's been battling a whole host of problems)i guess we both have to be patient with our babies though as for the curling not sure what thaa is you might want to look it up in the sick plants section, mine did something simular ,but mine was a nitrogen problem might be something different.the rockwool cubes have not ever been one of my favorites either just for the water holding capabilities especially for hydro(maybe better for soil application imo)

I figured out the slow growth was from nutrients and the lack there of. I boosted the ppm up to about 700 and they took off. Starting to look a lot better already!! Here are some pics from today/yesterday. It's day 24 which they should be starting to show pistols soon. Also looks like I should have about 12 that will be good to go all the way. image.jpegimage.jpeg

that's great my problems with my girl is continuing to be a pain i may have to pull my plant, really don't want to though, but she has been the same size for over a month now,now your girls are looking devine, keep up the great work.

Yes they are starting to come along nicely! I have some pics that i will post. Ive been taking them over the week and just keep forgetting to post them. LOL.

I think some how I got my days mixed up or counted differently this time. I believe these girls are starting there 5th week of life. Around 28 days. Most have stretched to about 18" a few are closer to 22-23" with some that are shorter around 16". I want to say there are 15 that are good to go.
I finished sealing my room for the most part and hooked the co2 up yesterday to see how it worked. I only set it to 800ppm because I'm not sure how sealed it is and didn't want to waste a tank. Overall I did a good job as the take only dropped a few psi(like 50ish in 18 hours of "on" time). I forgot to snap some picture but will do that tomorrow. They are looking good. Still not a fan of the Rockwool though.
