If your ppm is dropping I would bump up your base nutrients personally.

Double check everything. Make sure your airstones are pushing out good bubbles. Check you ph and ppm...when I feed I check my ppm before I water. If its lower than what it was when I topped off the day before that tells be she is pulling more nutes and is hungry. So if thats the case I bump her up 2ml extra per gallon until she balances out. So if I feed and after topping off the res my ppm is 1080 and then the next day I check before I feed...if my ppm is lower like around 850 then I will increase my base nutrients for that feeding and continue increasing daily until my ppm is close to the same before feeding as it was when I fed the day before. Does that make sense?
Yes it does and thanks, I was using that method to determine whether or not she was hungry or satisfied but somehow I misinterpreted something. My last res change I switched base nutes from AN ph perfect GMB to Sensi bloom A&B. Upon switching, I started with 1/4 strength but I noticed what I thought were nutes burns(yellow tips) so after a gallon was down I topped off with plain water to try and balance it out, the next top off I added a gallon of with 1/2 recommended strength nutes, I believe that I might've made an error thinking it was too strong a dose after all. I did a res change last night went back to AN 3 part and bumped the feed back to the last dosage I was on
