Hi guys, just started a new grow, isn't my first but when it comes to the electrical side of things/ calculating cfm etc im lost. Was getting perfect temps of 27-29 but checked yesterday and has shot upto mid 30s so thinking I might need to purchase an Aircon/ cooltube/ something

1m x 1m secret jardin tent
vents TT100 carbon filter (top back of tent with ducting leading out to extractor fan in bathroom)
2ft 4tube T5 (doesnt get hot)
250w Hps with the ballast outside of tent
small clip fan pulling outside air in (bottom left of tent)
Running 18/6 cycle with lights on during coldest period.

I have other fans that could be used but might need to buy a proper exhaust/ inline? Any help is appreciated as you can probably tell I havent a clue which is the best option lol. Cheers

Get You a cooltube. Or set the extractorfan higher !
Or buy a temperature controlled extractor.

yea seems like I need a cool tube. Just thought I might of had wrong air pressures or something because the tent seems to fill with heat and hardly keep a fresh supply moving through.. Weird thing is I rearranged the inline fan and it dropped massively, then few hours later it was back to 33-35C. Not got much to spend so don't want to spend money on an AC or something then be stuck with same problem or circulation.

Cheers,

Peez

P.s I turned off the hps until I sort something so with just the T5 and a 90w old school LED it's at around 24C which is ok but not satisfied :p

Do you have an extraction fan - or is the bathroom fan your extractor?

Yeah - The cool tube will need extraction as well - I've tried bathroom fan in the past with no success :)

In the mean time set your fan up so it's blowing DIRECTLY on your plant.
Not the best advice..... "My 2 cents" .
Plants will get wind stress and dry out. Fan should be blowing just a little bit higher than the top cola. Or the fun should be blowing rly lightly...

Not best quality but heres the setup atm if this helps

Feel free to tell me what's wrong etc, need to learn more about the arrangement. The growing, watering, nutes and all the rest I've done plenty research but its the bloody temps that ruin my fun lol
