Extraction Bad taste out of cannabutter

Hey!

Tried looking for solution but didnt find any, if there is a solution ?

So last time i made cannabutter i used all of the plant remains after harvest, big leaf`s , sugarl leaf`s and popcorn buds ( not stems ), put trims of 4 plants and 500g butter and let it simmer for 5-8h. it was good and strong butter! made cookies and spacecakes! they got you nice n high!
BUT! all the edibles i made tasted horrible! it tasted like eating grass, but after reading i found out it was the chlorophyll in the plant that made it taste horrible.

So now im asking if theres anyway to make good tasting butter with trimm ? i rather smoke my buds then make edibles of em! and i wanna make use of the whole plant!

I personally do a water filtration process to my medible butter.
Once I have the infused butter I'll place it in a pot on the stove with a couple cups of water.
I'll bring it to a good simmer(I keep it under 200˚F).
Then run it through a fine screen/filter.
I then place it back into a container to cool down and place it in the fridge to solidify.
I repeat this process until the water comes out clear.
2-3 times will usually pull out the chlorophyll taste.
You'll see each time the butter gets lighter in color and less green.
If you can't remove the taste any further I'd recommend using some vanilla extract in your medibles.
This works great in cookies and brownies.

Simply water cure the trim and buds before using. This works best on fresh trim and bud though. https://www.autoflower.org/f23/water-cure-727.html.. Will remove almost all the chlorophyll in 7 days :check: Plus with the added benefit of no odor, makes the edibles more stealthy for travel :tiphat:

Also cocao, vanilla extract, and raspberry extract seem to be the 3 best for negating the chlorophyll taste.
