You should not be using "Detergent" on your plants. Soap (a totally different substance) can be used in dilute amounts.

I know that bro that was meant as a sarcastic comment I had a squirty bottle made up with 3 drops of dawn dish soap in and someone who lives with me unbeknownst to me had changed the contents I hadn't used said bottle for a good 6 month and entirely expected it to contain what it did but obv it didn't u follow me?

Technically, aren't soaps (saponified fats/iipids; Na or K salts of fatty acids ) a subset, a type of, 'detergent' (surfactant)? With soaps, the lipid/fat-attractive portion of the detergent molecules are generally fatty acids.
