Hi guise,
I have a thread running in the "Outdoor" forum section and decided to make a new one here, because growing Stitch's genetics. I want to share the progress and have space for useful comments and tips from Stitch.

The plants:
3x Chaze, 2x SuperCaliHaze

Habitat:
Veg Light Box(50x40x60cm), total 150W CFL CoolWhite(6400K), lightning regime 19/5

Medium:
Soil NPK/7,2,2; pH 6,8-7,0, added some mycorhizzae, 3,5L pots with 3L of soil

Nutes:
rested tap water, Aminoacids and Vitamins(foliar and soil - 2ml/l) @day 14 and 15

Temps:
not measured properly, @day 14 around 31°C, rel.humidity @65%

The plan consisted in having 3 Chazes and one SCH in the box for the first 18 days, then transplant them out in mixed soil(TLO+myco) in a place with 6-7 hrs of direct sunlight.
Well, threr was a significant problem quite soon, one of the Chazes just broke its stem by itself, then I thought it was going to die, so I popped another SCH bean for replacement.
Turns out the Chaze is now doing good, it made new roots and is alive and thriving, but at least "a week in growth" behind other comrades. The young SCH is now in the same pot as the broken Chaze, but in some days I will transplant it in another pot. The problem is there is not enough space for another pot in the box, so I'm thinking to give one of these plants out before the others, but dunno which plant.

Considering the actual weather I will wait for the outside temps to raise, this gives me still a week of indoor conditions and I'm afraid the pots will quite soon become too small for the ladies. But I rather stun them in the pot than in the cold temps and rain.

Ok, enough words for now, here's a couple of pics from day 15:

P.S.
I forgot to mention, after the Super girls go out, there's gonna be another run in the box, got 6 DP auto beans(TD and AX) waiting for the same treatment! :dance2:

Following for sure
Good times ahead

It's day 19, noticed a slight light smell, very pleasant.

The stunted Chaze girl doing excellent, I was afraid for her, but looks like a total recovery:)

The little SCH(her first week) transplanted in a tall pot + different medium, the only pot I could fit in the box

If you look closely(kind of joke on bad pic quality), there are some problems with the big SCH's leaves. I think it may be caused by "simulated rain" I put on her, may be because of too cold water or even too strong mix of aminoacids, possibly the drops acted as a lens and light damaged the young leaves, who knows.
The other leaves seem OK, thats comforting.

Does the smell indicate near start of flowering or is it normal, like the smell of tomato plants?

I plan to put them out in max 6 days.

This is a "Third week" update, so day 21 for most of the plants.

Width of the SCH is around 30cm, height 25-30 at the moment. The Chazes are smaller but the pheno1 looks a faster grower, more sativa in it.
The second pheno has nice wider leaves and slower growth, but steady and healthy.

I water them every second day, around 0,5l per plant seems ok.

The smell increased just a bit, nothing to be worried about, but noticable when moving around the veg-box. It makes me stay a little longer with them and thinking what they will become:D

The weather forecasts are varying but all are saying summer is still far from us, quite cold night temps(10-13°C).

If you see the Sun, tell it we need it to come heat us a bit more:cool:

Yp, yesterday I pictured how the plants would look like if they were planted directly outdoors. I guess they would still be little and shy with just some leaves, the low temps wouldn't let them grow.

I am very happy to have made a good call in starting them indoors, a really good decision.

Tomorrow is "update day", so grab another pack of popcorn and watch them grow, Eschatos:smokebuds:

Oh yeah, tomorrow I will start germinating the second set of beans, the show must go on! :dance2:

Been to the site and prepared the holes today, as tomorrow is transplant day.

I was pretty amazed at how soft the soil was and any hole I dug, a minute later an earthworm came out to catch some sun:)
There were dozens of small earthworms and at least 4 giants, more than 50cm long. I guess the soil is alright and looks very alive.

Dug 5 holes for the superautos and filled them with a mix of two soils, total 120L, and still have at least 100L of original soil to add to the mix and slightly raise the soil level(kinda like raised beds). That makes around 25L of fresh soil per plant, but the rested soil looks amazing and rich. I guess I'll mix it altogether and get 45L+ per plant(which is not really true as they will not grow in pots).

Also got rid of some branches from a bystanding tree, to get more light, but I will adjust the tree more during the grow.

See you tomorrow!
