Outdoor Bal's SuperAutoGarden

Day 1 update!

Turned on the lights to see how the sprouts were doing and all got standing and looking good. Helped some to get rid of their "seed helmets" and turned the light back off to stick to the schedule. Weirdly, the TD don't look as good as AX, but at day1 that's meaningless.

Here's how they look(15cm pots):

Flooded the soil to have higher humidity in the box.
Actually yesterday I thought I f**ked it because the soil was way too dry and all 6 lamps were going(too hot for now), so for some days just 4 lamps to lower the heat. Also higher moist in soil is good for mycorhizzae.

The plan:

Indoor for max 18 days, then out in same holes with same soil mix as the superautos.
Only difference for now are smaller pots and scheduled vents from the beginning. Also the soil seems a bit different, slightly more chunky and some small stones in it, but still good enough.

That's it for day 1.

Oh, one more thing:

:D

No pic update for today, only words..

They are all healthy, one TD had a inner seed membrane stuck on leaves, so I had to help her out. Keeping high humidity and switched to full lights(150W).

I have a question as I never tried to make seeds, but want to try it.

I have a pack of KC33 photo regulars and I thought to first transplant the DPs out and then put 2(3) of KC's beans on soil and start them directly with 12/12 regime. If there is a girl, she will go out, but the males will stay in the box. Thing is I don't know in how much time the pollen should be produced and if it will still be enough time to pollinate the auto plants. At what stage should they be pollinated?
Is there a helpful thread/link with an explanation of how this things work?

Thanx in advance:thumbs:

This is yesterday's picture from the growbox.

The heat got up and is around 32°C, I think that's the highest they can handle without damage.
So I used one of the vents to blow the heat out of the box, one remaining inside for circulation.

DutchPassion beans@day 8:

ThinkDifferent -. the bottom one has some leaf curling which I've seen from other growers...looks interesting.

The AutoXtremes - three similar but different plants, the upper one has wider and shorter leaves, which is strange for a "sativa" leaning plant. But other growers had same leaves, I think.

I hope the heat will stabilise, otherwise looking quite good. Next week I will add some aminoacids and vitamins for strenght and in eleven days max they go out.

Lookin fine Balarama, cant wait to see how they compare in action outdoors just had to pop 2 thinkdiffs myself , a few weeks behind but lets hope for a decent September eh !!!

Back from the garden!

I must say I was surprised to see the girls stretch so much in less than two weeks from transplant.

Here are some pics:

Chaze(pheno1) and the SCH

This is the Chaze pheno2, had wider leaves but it stretched like hell, just look at that internode. It went far up in the cloudy weather, obviously.

The stunted Chaze - looked like the pheno1, but it went up like the second one. And the stems are thick almost like fingers.

Happy girls with the automatized watering system:)

The taller Chaze is still the most smelling one, it's got a very nice weed smell that makes you feel warm in the nose and in the head, makes me mellow.
Had their stems rubbed to smell them and they were most like basil and other aromatic herbs, very nice smells.

The SCH started making preflowers, also the Chaze pheno1, which is my favorite to look at. The taller plant is near a meter high, but I'm not happy with the stretch, it doesn't have enough branches.
If they will grow at this rate, I'm sure the taller will go over two meters high. Maybe I shoul top the tallest one:confused:

That's it for now, next update from the garden will be when the DP babies will go out.

Cheers
:peace:

Last update from the box!

It's day 16 for the DutchPassion girls, in two days they will meet their older friends at the garden.

I must say these plants got a hell of conditions:hot:, temperatures up to 35°C in the box, so the TDs have some leaves damaged, but it's nothing serious.
Taking the hi-temps like champions!

That's all for now, in some days I will make an update from the garden! I hope for some good surprises by the SuperAuto girls:wiz: I think the biggest one must be over a meter now:dance2: I hope to see lots of branches.

Have a budiful sunday:smoke:

Do you know what day is it?

It's transplant day! :booya:

Been to the garden, everything is going fine, the superautos are looking amazing, better than my last year photo plants at this age. So I thought to post some pics;)

First things first, here are the transplanted DP girls, 3 Think Different and 3 AutoXtremes.
This is the last pot-photoshooting:

Now, the SuperAutos.

I was expecting them to grow big and fast and that's exactly what they did!
The tallest Chaze(the pheno2 - wider leaves) is just taller than 1,5 meters(around 5 feet tall) and made some branches, while the pheno1 is a good meter tall and wider, more branchy and just beautiful.
The stunted Chaze is keeping up nicely, putting on some nice leaves, it doesn't look stunted at all.
The SCH is looking great, I think it will start full bloom in some weeks, it has more preflowers than the Chazes. Nice short branches, not a wide plant so far.

I did some stem rubbing and it amazed me how fragrant they smell, a mix of herbal, coffee, spicy complex heavenly smells, I expect them to be the nicest smelling weed in my experience!

Just wanted to say the pictures are not good, were taken with an old phone in weird light conditions, but you should see the difference from last week, thats what they're about.

And here's the SuperAuto garden with the super girls in the back and the Dutch Passion in the front.
You can notice how dark/blue green they look in comparison with the other vegetation. Same was with stitcs's plants, I assume it's the soil and lights fault(in a good way).

Now i don't have anything to care for, the watering system is automatic(as are the plants:rolleyes:) so I will only go back to add some guano and see if they need to be tied when they will grow bigger.

Expect an update in two weeks with some young flower pictures, hopefully with a better camera:thumbs:

It's all up to the sun now.
