Lighting Bambud's next grow - Need advice on what LED to get

Following your advice... Have purchased the below:

http://www.progrow.co.uk/acatalog/info_113.html

Only thing I'm thinking is I may have to hold back on nutes if using 2 strains, especially if their grow time is quite different. Or other option is just stick to one strain at the time.

Should I sack off the pots since using nft, and just use a Rockwool cube? Or shall I start the grow in the pots with my bagged coco and just irrigate it using the nft system?

Also would is it better to let the root zone dry out before watering during the start of the grow to encourage some root growth? Or constant flow of water?

2 beans popped today.. decided to stick to one strain to avoid any complications, and that strain is the Diesel C99.

So it begins :) the diesel c99s are taking quick so far. 2 days since germination.

ive attempted to mix a tiny bit of clonex with the water to see if that makes a difference.

as of now the nutes I have are GH's 3 part flora series which I plan to use as my main feed, and also some floralicious for the end of the grow. Are there any other supplements people can advise to add on top of this? I want some tasty tasty little nuggets!

thanks :)

also id just run 2 plants in 15L air pots with light mix/perlight

Already all purchased it brah, will keep it mind for next time if I do find this vipar let's me down.

Set everything up yesterday and gotta say it seems to be pretty good. When takin a photo it produced a fair bit of distortion in the lens due to the IR, I know it's not a tell of quality but it sure does pump out some light.

I wasn't sure if I should have it on half power or just full. I figured as long as it doesent hurt the seedlings it can't do any harm, so for now have it on full at about half a meter distance from plants.

yeah i kinda found out after i posted lol *doh*, im interested to see how these vipar L.E.Ds run though as they are quite a good price and did consider getting one before i purchased my MS006. Yeah my light does the same thing mate when i try take pictures the distortion is annoying...i just run mine on full power and move the light further away, u want it at least 75cm. They also look like there stretching alot so maybe reduce the distance idk? I thought u bought that unit from the actual VIPAR website but they don't sell that unit so is that just one of ebay? As my friend purchased one of the *vipar* models off ebay and it is indeed fake. On VIPARS website they only do the big units not them sort of style ones idk take a look. www.viparled.co.uk

Yeah I thought the same with regards to them not having it on their website, dunno maybe they offer other models on eBay? I think their eBay page also offer the ones they have on their site but at a higher price, by I'll look into that. Either way.. They all come from china end of the day, if it is a fake lets hope it's a good one, as I said before the build does seem decent, and they offer a 30 day money back if I'm not satisfied. The model is C300.

The stretch is because I germinated the seeds without any supplemental light, just by a window. That shouldn't be a problem once they pick up though, if I do find they stretch too much I'll bring them closer to the light. And yeah that's what I thought with having it.

Thanks for ur feedback ;)

Anytime bud im here, yeah look into the light mate because you don't wanna be ripped off, it may indeed be a decent light but they shouldn't be tagging it as a VIPAR if its not. Im pretty sure their ebay email or whatever is different from the actual one on the site, but hey ho only time will tell if u can get some great buds! Which im sure you will..no problem about the stretch just noticed it thats all ;)

Got a reply from viparled eBay shop, may be of some interest to some of you:

"Hi,
Sorry for the confusion.
Pls do not worry,we are really vipar.Counterfeit someone else's trademark is illegal,
Edd (the main charge person of website viparled .co.uk)will kill me-:)
We would like to sell only the B series on website viparled .co.uk,because they are our featured product.
The B series come with high cost, every modul has a heat sink and come with 90 degree lenses.
So it is more expersive.
If there is any request, pls feel free to contact us.
Thank you and best regards.
jenny"

Seems it was more or less what I thought, they just keep their prize items on their site. To be fair this light is kicking out between 20-30k lux at its current level, and I have still to add my 200w cfl
