Indoor Barney Farms Sweet Tooth grow

Alright day two pics. FYI I like to stretch my girls, I know many dont like it but I do. I harvest leafs, stems and the roots to make many things for my loved ones. Currently gathering for holy annointing oil for diabetic sores on legs. Any one with recipes I would like to hear from you or a simple link. Thanks. A little off topic I see that Kudo has a flash seed badge, stitch, does he have one for his short stuff line? I'm going to be growing some and was just wondering. Anyway the girls in MG are taller but the one in FFOF seams a little heartier. Stay tuned!

Day six. #1 in MG is the tallest by far with #3 FFOF shorter, and #2 in MG is the smallest and I'm not sure but if growth doesn't pick up I'd say she's stunted. Yesterday I feed them, both girls in MG got a feeding of 1/8 super thrive and 1tbl bloom big. Following feeding schedule. While lady in FFOF got plain spring water.
#2 is the healthiest of the bunch, she's sprouting her first set of finger leafs alittle faster than #1. Their all the same distance from the light, so I think genetics has a lot of play in the stretch, along with the light hight. :2cents:

looking good nam:thumbs:,
surprisingly healthy for MG soil :clap: for most thats a death sentence.

the view against stretching is cause it is harder to light a taller stretched out plant compared to an identical numbered node plant in the same situation. budsites/canopy will be spread extra apart so youd want a stronger light source to penetrate to those bottom bud/leaves at the same intensity. your hps should be good for it anyway and will contribute a little to the stretch too.
if youre after the stems stretch them ladies out hard.

happy growing :gthumb:

I've heard that with MG soil Bgrt, I've had some moisture control MG that I could get them to sprout but then die. But this seed starting mix has never really given me any problems. It super low in nutes with no time release, and it's good for root stimulation. We'll see how this goes, and it will be the end all be all for me. I think the stretch for me is just as much for the stem harvest as I've always gotten a larger harvest when they stretch. I equate height to larger root mass. Anyway thanks for stoping by and checking out my little ladies!

Day 11. My MG #2 is behind the other two as a direct result of my own actions. I rushed putting them in the soil before I had proper lighting to support six plants. My bad. She's now growing quickly trying to catch the other two. Both plants in MG have been getting nutes since there second leafs sprouted. Watered them each yesterday with 2 liters water, 1tbs FF Bloom Big and 1/8 super thrive while my lady growing in the FFOF / Roots mix has yet to be given any nutes. As you can tell she is the best looking sprout of the group. Early results conclude MG sprouts quicker by a day while FFOF/Roots mix so far is better for the younglings. Too early to call a clear cut winner. The girls are now under 750w hps! MORE LIGHT!

Day 14, their hitting their veg stride. Starting to take off! Will post pics tonight.

Thx Briain. The MG needs to be watered much more than the FFOF. But other than that they seem to be compatible in growing my ladies so far. I do like being able to use my nutes with the MG that way I know their getting what they need! Watered MG last night with 3liters water with 3tbs FF Bloom Big and 3/4tbs FF Grow Big.

using bloom nutes early?

No, FF Bloom Big, FF Grow Big and FF Tiger Bloom are a three part nute pack. On the FF feeding schedule they have you feed Big Bloom though out seeing how it is an organic and really low in nutes. The first time I read the feed schedule I thought the same thing! I had to do a double take my self. After reading up on it their meant to be used together though out.
