Hey AFNlogo !
redd here, doing my first grow ever, and will be using autos and am very excited to share :D: I hope you'll join me on the journey!

Catching up:
I have germinated 3x Vision's White Widow in FFOF with about 4:1 Perlite, using 3G containers. I started the germ on 9/17 using the classic paper towel method, and planted all three in soil two days later, with the sprouts fully emerging 9/20.

Setup:
CLW SS 400w LED, will be using whole grow due to heat concerns that I am unfortunately out of control of at the moment. Does anyone have any feedback or opinions on the light, by the way? I would love to hear more, I did some homework into it and only found positive reviews, including here on AFN!
4x4x4 grow area, with an area that I will be able to adjust to smaller/bigger lengths. shed done 1.jpg
It will be at the back of a shed I've spent 12+ hours on with removing, cleaning, pouring a rocky concrete mix, setting up walls, you name it, but I know that every grower must know what I am talking about in one way or another  I'll be duct taping to give a final seal, it is this insulative styrofoam 3/4" (2cm) thick, with this reflective side that i thought i would use for the boucing of light around the room **but if this will potentially harm plants, I would like to know. It is a thin covering, not sure if aluminum or another material, and my biggest concern with it is I do not know if hot spots where the light can focus will have an effect on the grow. The light, should be arriving 9/24 (today for me, but 14+ hours away) (also, this being the case that they have been bathing in some natural 30 longtitude (northern hemisphere, but 11-12+ hours of light i could deliver to them like that. The light unfortunately had been delayed

I'll get pics of the little ones up after some sleep, and some more of the area I'll be growing in. Until then, any questions i would love to answer or recieve criticism and help, or even welcomes :] stay tuned!

I've decided to roll 18/6 throughout. I have 7x more of the white widow fems, as I stated I was growing, that I could plant down the road and keep a cycle, with a little more.

Also have:
10x Short Stuff Himalaya Blue Diesel auto, and
10x Short Stuff MI5 auto at the moment. I haven't decided when or what I'll be growing next

Welcome to AFN sounds like a sweet setup bro good luck :smokebuds:

Got me a seat! Welcome man. Can't wait to see those babies take off. As for the light, I looked into it because I wasn't familiar; it looks bad ass! Can't wait to see how they react to it!

Duck Commander thanks for the welcome and visit! hope to see ya around, brother!

GeorgiaPine The light tempted me too, brother! Been dying to get my hands on it for days haha, glad to have you here man

Welcome to AFN reddwood, glad to see you jump right in with both feet! Let us know if you need any assistance and update regularly. It helps us notice problems before they become problems.

The WW so far

The plant in the cup on the left is UK Cheese photoperiod seed that I have been asked to watch as of now, I will have room so I didn't see the problem:D: Will be putting in with the WW later.

Added gorilla tape to the boards to get a nice seal around, the floor I laid has dried and hardened as well!afn shed added tape.jpg

Inside, working on getting some vitals stabilized afn stabilizing temps.jpg

The light is pretty much confirmed today, shouldn't be any more than 8 hours or so left on the delivery at most, and it's lights on in there! Pics going up asap when I can for you lovely afn members

:peace: redd

thanks, Boogie! and man am I ready too

Since I'm in the new growers section, if any new or prospective growers were reading this, I would recommend you try germinating and taking care of some simple bagseed properly for a little while. It really helped me get a hand on things as I did homework into what I would be needing to start my grow:D:
Here's what that looked like:
afn practice germ.jpg Paper towel germ of several bagseed, strain unkknown

Transferred them to 3G pots not long after that size, only kept a few because I needed the containers for the current grow:Stones slap:
It has been a month since I started germing them, here's what some I still have look like. Only grown outdoors, 12/12 pretty much at this point. They are very strong though :] afn practice germ grow 10.later2.jpgafn practice germ grow 10.later.jpg afn practice germ grow 10.later3.jpg

So definitely something to think about, new growers or those interested, and I learned invaluable information about care :stylez rasta smoke:
