My plant is 26 inches and I'm wondering if I could bend it over so the light doesn't have to keep moving further away from the buds on the lower part of the plant??? That is in advance....ooo and merry xmas

Yes its possible but not recommended, maybe better do do some side lightning!

Yes you can bend the main cola or any other side branches by squeezing the stem together where you want the bend to be and gently move the stem down where you want it. after about a week the plant will heal itself where the bend is and you will see a callus or knot form. The branches might start to bend up again reaching for the light but you can hold them down with string if you need to.

Hey bigtm1987 as Nammy said yes you can bend them over I almost always take my plants and do this. I usually go about half way up and squeeze the stalk until I hear a snap and then if it is to heavy to hold itself up I prop it up with something and in about a week its all better. I snap all my side branches a couple times each so it helps hold up the weight of the bud and also some people say this helps the plant uptake more water and nutes. Hazy does this also when he uses his "Cannin" technique.

Thanks guys I think I'll go with the simple option and hang a few CFLs lower down the plant :-)
