I felt region was quite important in choosing an led too unless u comfortable paying fairly large courier fees and import charges, what's ur own experience? Wat dont u like about ur current models of led? I'm sure they will do more powerful models if u was happy with ur results

grow Northern seems popular and reputable, I purchased a budmaster II and am v happy with my choice although discovered afterwards they are backed by hydro grow which have a lot of mixed reviews regarding that company

I don`t think I know anyone with that large an output/wattage personally(not from one light anyway!), sounds a bit `overkill` t`me"My 2 cents"...Sorry fella :peace:

Hello :)

what would you recommend if you had my tent and would make a good crop in the tent?

by making you think it's overkill? :)

thanks for the reply :)

1) Check the spectrum used by grow northern

2) Contact CIDLY and ask for their best prices on apollo 20 units

3) Buy 4-6 of those lights using the grow northern spectrum.

You will save a wedge on the cost of the lights and enjoy some nice harvests for sure. Thats a large tent you plan on lighting. Its gonna need some big lights :)

HELLO :)

THANK YOU for a super good answer will do as you said :)

APOLLO 20 is their best then :)

so 4-6 of them should be enough? :)

anything else you can recommend and again thanks for the help super good answer indeed :)

Dont know anyone with the money to test it but this would be the best "high wattage" LED id buy http://www.gothamhydroponics.com/le...hydro-ion-8-1546w-led-grow-light-fsf-uvb.html

UVB is the best UV light for canna plants. it makes them create more resin glands as a natural "sunblock" against UVB i been looking into buying the smaller version of this light!

Probably cause a whole shitstorm for saying it but those lights aren't really for small scale grows, they have 6w and 10w chips so you'll need a fricking high ceiling to get them far enough away not to shred the plants cells. I think a commercial greenhouse grow would be a better place for them.

If you do go for it bear in mind the heat increases exponentially as the chip size increases but the cooling doesn't so much more cooling needed in a small space compared to 3w panels.

Here is a decent list yo look through
Amazon has some dirt genius which give decent results but there's a veg and bloom.
as well htg has some awesome new ones that I am going to grab as soon as I have the cash. If you go to there led section towards the bottom I can't remember the names but they have these white panels with veg/bloom and a high intensity setting for mid flower. I've seen the largest panel in action grow a 7 footer photo blue dream.
But check out the lower wattage one for sure.

hello :)

yes that's maybe for the big boys :)

there I am not directly, but I do not grow in such large spaces without only grow with tent :)
thanks for the explanation that you should not bet on 10w chip! in that it would burn down the plants any more we should consider?

Emil, you can not expect our members to do all your research for you. If you want more information about the HTG lights, just google HTG Supply, go to their web site and read for yourself. If you have any specific questions about their lights, then contact them yourself. Same with GN, FERO, or any of the other LED manufacturers/resellers.
