No not at all engis, thatkracker is saying the soil has enough nutrients for the first 3 to 4 weeks of the seedlings growth. After that you need to add food (nutrients) for the plants to the soil.

How do I change my rating to "interpretor"?

No....what he means is that the soil will have enough nutes "built in to it" to get the plant through the first 3 or 4 weeks before you have to are other fertilizers to it.

But can I just add more bio-bizz to the mix or anything else?

It wouldn't really help to add soil to the top again, especially such a light mix. Look at the roots organic player pack. Its only 50$ and will last a long time for the average grower. Just my 2¢

Pro Mix products are great but... peat moss is not a renewable resource and Pro Mix uses alot of peat. Better off using an organic potting mix. I see people say you need to amned a "litght mix" but how did I then grow a 7yft. plant in a 5 gallon growbag with nothing but organic potting soil and a tablespoon of Jobe's Granular Organic fertilizer? Beginners should keep it simple! KISS will never fail you! After you get some experience and want to try fancier organic mixes, go for it! But plain old organic soil will work great all by itself, which gives you time to learn proper watering, etc.

ill agree with pop even though I do use peat in my grows, only because coir isn't as cheap and its honestly that simple. fo rme but I will be switching to coir as im going tlo with my soil and the coir will not breakdown like the peat when recycling my soil.

again me and pop usually seem to think along the same lines. there is a line called DR. Earth at the HD use there bulb and bloom fert and start with a good organic soil and bam should be all you need.

now as far as specific soils go I tend to only use two if I have to. roots organic or ffof ive had great results with them both. I also use bio bizz nutes (fish mix,bio bloom and some top max) and also brew act using the DR earth ferts I mentioned molasses and some seabird guanos. this is what I have learned the more natural and organic you can go the less chance you really have of messing up
