Indoor Big Buddha Chiesel Grow Journal

I'll be watching bro

Those looks like they will be some really fat fat buds. Eyes on this thread as i wanna see how your lst progression is going on. Do you still pull them down and do you do it in a spiral ?

Day 44 pics update, buds starting to put weight on now

Morning AFN'ers,

Just a quick update of my chiesel grow and my first LST attempt...

Temp 75-76.8 F.
RH 44-49%
Run off PH 6.3
250 HPS (getting the GN MS004 in Dec :gthumb:)

Ok so I think the yellowing of the leaves was due to changing to flower nutes as was advised to me... She has stopped yellowing now and is progressing nicely...

I have stopped giving any gro nutes now and upped the Cal Mag to 1.5ml/litre, think she loves me for the Cal Mag increase (really have learnt CalMag is a MUST with autos)

Height wise she is 1ft tall with a 1.2 ft width, buds are growing nicely and starting to put on some weight, have 4 main colas with 7-8 colas in orbit...

@killernecrox yes I still am LST coming to an end now, I feel I have worked the plant as much as I can and will allow her to grow upwards now as every budsite on her is receiving great light... I didnt spiral tho, mine I waitied until second node appeared folded (horseshoe shape) over, and continued to do this as she grew up (the stems are like a motorway interchange)

Updates will come guys, any advice or questions welcomed

Pics below :peace:

Very curious about the yield now too that is looking nice for a one gallon plant. Also, the GN MS004 compared to your current 250 watt will be something I watch out for too! I've been eyeing them too I just don't think I have the vertical space. I had a bad experience with LED once :stir:

Back Online, Day 57 Big Buddha Chiesel, pics update

Ok so I have been offline for a while but back up and running so wanted to share some progress...

Now on day 57
Temp 69-73 F.
RH 37-45%
Run off PH 6.7
Lights 20/4

Ok so a week or so ago I went away and gave her what I thought was enough water before going, but upon return found her severly wilting and alot of fan leaves yellowing and curling "Grrr"

I fed her with GH bloom, GH micro, CalMag and rhizotonics and she perked up within the hour, those fan leaves have since gone on to die and a few left show the scars...

My problem is that I havent done that many autos and use the leaves as a guide to tell me when to start final flush and predict harvest time, currently 95% of the trichs are a milky colour and none with an amber colour, how long would you guys say she has left, I am thinking of starting final flush in a week??

Pics below any input is appreciated greatly, :smokebuds:

When to harvest?? opinions please :)

Morning fellow AFN'ers,

So today is day 63 and could use some advice, this is my second auto and am wondering when is best to harvest her, I am after the stone dead high which with photos I harvest when 85-90% of the trichs have changed to amber, and with my last auto I harvested following Muddys guide (fan leaves dead and bud leaves starting to yellow die off)....

Current status is
Temp 75 F.
RH 44%
Started final flush 3 days ago
Not one single amber trich I can find
Most fan leaves yellowing off and curling up now

My question really is should I go for harvest on the 70th day which is what I think I should, or will she be better left an extra few days or maybe even more??

Thanks for stopping by :smokebuds:

Fantastic grow! Great job man! If you have the patients to let a photo to 80% amber than you'd be doing your self a disservice taking her down at day 70. Have you scope her trichs yet? Also find with most autos their cbd is higher than a photo which provides more of that relaxed body feeling....I'm really loving autos for meds!
:slap: :five: looking good brother! I vote to let her go a few more weeks!

Yes I have scoped the trichs and they are 80-85% milky colour, tbh I would love to leave it as long as possible I want the very most from her.. I will issue her another feed of bloom nutes today then and reconsider in another 10 days or so... Thanks for your advice and rep Yoda very much appreciated :smokebuds:
