Thanks a ton man! That means allot more to me then you know. It's a passion and I truly enjoy helping others. We are just in such a shitty market as far as lighting goes, people are being taken advantage of every second. Diy is an affordable way for just about anyone to get into and something actually worth the money. I'll rep you back for the thought.
Definitely. We've got a similar approach to life and sharing info! I actually became mod here myself for a while before the forum change, but I had to lay low for a while due to RL issues and I guess I got demoted (obviously) for absence. One of the main things I found (and kept me loyal) about this forum was the absolute 100% positive vibe, no BS, no censoring, no ganging, no nothing …just true to the bone caring and sharing - which you are clearly a prime example!

Your name looks very familiar. Was your last name the same or close? It actually took me a some time to fall in love with this place but once I did I really hit it hard. The badge part held me back the most, not allot of respect even though I am the same guy who just has a tech freak badge now. I'm with you on the vibe and rest of it, it's hard to act out even if you wanted to. People are just so damn nice and helpful here. That's what does it for afn.
I'm in another forum as well. I have told myself dozens of times I'll never go back and keep getting hooked. The absolute opposite of here. Numerous folks there make it a mission to harass and put people down. Thats lead to hundreds and hundreds of arguments. Then I pop back here and see a friendly message like yours. 2 different worlds. This just ruined my day. My super side light bar just had a driver die. The cobs were very dim then I flicked the driver and they turned on. Not to assuring knowing that a higher voltage driver like this has some sort of a short. I'm doing a mars conversion to help folks out who are interested. Luckily I can snag a driver to fix my baby.
