I am growing in biobizz allmix and using bio grow and bio bloom. Is it worth paying the extra for one of the above? or is it just another case of "hype" and cynical advertising

Yeah i had a look at that as well, i was thinking that the two nutrients i mentioned are for bud development, i will leave it a week and see if anybody else pipes in.
