Well howdy there folks, after acting like a squished banana I've finally pulled whats left of me back together and found where I'm actually supposed to post this thread, not, it would seem, in the middle of another thread. Strange that lol.

If you wanna follow the full grow feel free to come and have a dip in the ocean.

Grow Space and Equipment

60x60x140 Bud Room
125W Growlamp CFL
3x 30W Household CFL's
Peat based Multipurpose Compost
Vermilculite
Perlite
1.5L pots to start and 6L pots to finish

Nutrients and NPK

BioBizz Range
BioGrow 4/3/6
BioBloom 2/7/4
TopMax 0.1/0.01/0.1 (its gotta do something.... right??)
BioHeaven 1/0.2/0.2 (unsure whether I will use this yet, may save it for the DWC run but we'll see when we get there)

I paid just under £40 for all these so a very resonable price I they mange to pull some results.

I've pondered how best to do this and the way I see it, we need to see what the nutrients bring to the table and so the only way to really show that is to have a comparison grow.
I've got 3 seeds above soil and under my lights. All diesel crosses bred by a friend and fellow AFN'er. 1x NYCD cross and 2x Sour Diesel crosses.

The NYCD, mainly because it's one of my all time favourites, is gonna be grown with the nutrients and pushed as far as she'll (hopefully a she, I'm using regular seeds here, I have back ups just in case) let me take her.
The two Sour Diesels are where we will have our little test.

One shall be grown using the biobizz range of nutrients the other, plain water with the option of Epsom Salts on day 10 and day 30something if they need it....
This way we should hopefully see a clear difference in the plants growth and health one way or the other. Fair test I think.

Anyways, enough dribble. I'm gonna roll myself a rather large spliff of my harvested Hindi and I'll be back to carry on.

Have yourselves a fat one too

Scratch what I said about BioHeaven, I'm gonna use it.

Webpage write up.

BioBizz BioHeaven contains biological stimulants, such as amino-acids. Amino-acids are the basic building blocks for the proteins and enzymes, which are essential to the structure and the metabolism of your plants.

This organic plant energy booster is rich in L-amino acids and naturally-aged humus. BioHeaven enhances utilization and translocation of nutrients in fertilizer blends and foliar sprays to boosts up the anti-oxidant system of your garden.

The higer metabloizm BioHeaven creates also helps rid your plants of toxin builtup during periods of stress, repairs chlorophyll while restimulating the plants.

BioHeaven is compatible with all nutrient programs and growing media, but is particularly beneficial in hydroponics.

Application rate: use 2 - 5 mL per liter nutrient solution. Start use during second week of growth stage and stop use two weeks before harvest.

:pop:now thats what in talking about

:pop: always looking for better nutes! Sub'ed.

Right, we've now got our starter plants ready to get this show on the road.
Decided to focus this on the two diesel comparisons, if you wanna follow the NYCD use the link above and come and pop along.

One plant is actually a day older than the other but tbh there really isn't much in it so it would seem we have a very similar pair to work with, fair test, no random pheno's..... shouldn't have said that should I lol.
Both have received one feed of rainwater so far and shall be transplanted into 6 litre pots tomorrow. Midway through next week they'll get a small dose of epsom salts and then at the end of week two we'll start to feed one. Hopefully we'll see a significant difference from there on in.

I'll drop by on feed day but until then guys and gals, enjoy todays pics and take care.

If I sound blunt or rude I apologise, not myself today. Back on form next time folks.

Peace

End of week 1 - Day 7

These two need a name.....??

Another week down already. Damn, this growing malarkey makes time seem to just slip through your fingers.

Both have just had a trip down to the watering hole and put some food in there bellies for the next few days.
Unfortunately I forgot to pick up a bottle of Root Juice for this grow, I'll do another run after this to test that as well.

One has been fed with 1 teaspoon (per litre) of epsom salts, and 1ml of BioGrow (per litre, early I know but I'm gonna run with it, I've got a prototype running on the sidelines who handled it very well even as early as day 11) mixed with rain water, the other, plain tap water.

(Little experiment of my own, I'm thinking tap water has lots of nice minerals the plants can use at the beginning of the life cycle, but these are also things which you don't want clogging up the system later on nearer/during flowering. My test being, rainwater mixed with minerals (and then nutes) for one plant and the other, tap water to begin with and once pre-flowering stretch begins/ends(?) swap for rainwater. It may make absolutely no difference whatsoever but I'm just having a little play around with things atm, worth a shot I think)

They're in their 6 litre pots now btw, and under a 24/0 cycle for now.

Anyways, enough dribble. They're about to start drinking heavily so I'll probably be back at the weekend.

'Till then, take care of yourself, and each other.

End of week 2 - Day 14

(Next time I'll take photos before I feed, this one got its droop on before I got to the camera)
