. Those are good podcasts, I need to listen to more. It turns out KIS is located where I may be able to visit when we travel to the lower 48. I know I want to buy some of their stuff lol.

They have been great to deal with and shipping is very good, like free my past couple orders. The different goods are in a volume, like 10 pounds, well packed and good quality. It's enough to share with others or just make a bunch of soil at as time. I gotta figure out proportions next. I am going to try to get it per gallon since I make small batches.

Posting about insect frass usage. I see @Eyes on Fire dropped by, critique me if you want, your input is highly valued by me. I finally did what you said early on, jump in and try something. That's what I'm doing, rereading old threads, and just seeing what works. I'm grateful bud, and learning!

I'm proud, water only!

This has been working about 40 days. About 4 gallons worth. It's got life in it, I am diving in head first!

I would totally invest in some fishies OR better yet some dried fish balls from tea labs. dehydrated, light and fully soluble in water. less mess too if thats a worry. I would use more of the Base or foundation granule than the Grow due to the Hot of the guano and things like that. Higher N.they look fine to me man. i bet a nice flower tea drench is what the doctor ordered LOL! Nice colors, and I bet they smell nice already too huh?!..lol or next round you could pre make a top dressing AND with a mellow easy tea, yup, voila. super easy. more of a flower top dressing with some mild pushing N in the mix. boom!! or a top dressing with a cpl N hits in a mellow Tea. I would look into making some IMO;s if I were you. especially if you have Bamboo in your area at all.well certain type(s) are ideal. but some nice woods and a quality Wettable powder would be fine and with some steer and mushroom compost you cover everything you need. life Inoculate [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG](Tea Labs,N mitigating),mushie compost gives loads of fungal that others dont, and steer or a high end cow compost adds the other piece. but I like steer for the aggressive nature of the compost.Chicken is alright but use it with something else, rooster too.Rooster is typically very hot and needs cooling or thinning.

I appreciate your input! The foundation has worked well, looked like it had a good mix of ingredients. I have a bag of the Malibu compost I'm going to put in my next soil mix.

Question about bamboo, are some bad? I have found several places that I can get some gold bamboo(I think that's it's name), really yellow stalk. Can I just use leaf? Or do I need meat from the inside?

Tea is on my list! Baby steps for me. I'm still figuring out what to use for those, kelp, alfalfa, the barley. That's why I decided to post it so I can reference.
