Nutrients Biotabs, Cream Cookies and Coco

Well I agree with them being sensitive to nutes but I'm using biotabs so its all mixed into the coco already and I just give them dechlorinated water. No PH checks. No EC checks.

This is my current grow with slight N toxicity and nute burn from giving too much orgatrex at week 5

See how dark those leaves are?

I won't make that mistake this time though

Don’t worry about that matey. You can see they are happy and budding nicely [emoji106]

As Sir Tabs would say, don’t panic it’s organic. My last Gorilla OG had Bio PK every day for weeks and at some seriously wonky doses as I lost my syringe lol. Not a single sign of complaint and the bud is super tasty and prison-riskingly smelly! [emoji23]

Watch the orgatrex as you say as it’s pretty strong stuff [emoji106]

Yeah I just stood next to my tent exhaust and I can deffo smell citrus weed but only slightly. The filters working but only just. Open the door though and the house down the street can smell it!!! Slapped me right in the chops it did!!

Anyway.....

I bought some new coco for this round and I've got to admit, I like it better already. It's light and fluffy/grainy with a lot less woody/hairy bits than the UGRO stuff. Won't be buying that again in don't think.

Seed [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is in the coco. Unfortunately the instructions on this new coco block lie and say it's 10 ltr on one side and 9 ltr on the other. It's definitely 10 ltr though. They also say add 3 ltr of water to rehydrate the block completely..... try 5 mate!!! Still.... I don't care cause it feels fookin lovely stuff.

Seed [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] has been soaked overnight along with [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] and is waiting for some water to dechlorinate so I can soak another coco brick. She's sat in some tissue paper for the night so she'll be okay.

So here's the UGRO stuff....

See all the bigger chunks in it? I'm not a fan. Here's the new stuff -

Looks lovely eh. Added 5 grams of Startrex to it and mixed well, then dug a hole and added 5 grams of Mycotrex spread evenly around and topped it back up with pure coco. The seeds sat in the middle.... I think!

More when there's something to show [emoji4]

Well I suppose that's another lie on the instructions too cause it said 3ltrs - 10 mins. 25 mins later and it was still bone dry in the middle. After breaking it up and adding another 2 ltr it took another 15 mins or so to hydrate fully. I don't mind though cause it got me out of the housework I was ment to be doing instead [emoji23][emoji23]

haha silver linings and all that i suppose but id just prepare it the day before next time pour the water in and walk away it will do all the work itself then just break up the compacted lumps before filling the pots i use a wire mesh sieve but breaking it up by hand works just as good
how old is that carbon filter you have must be some strong stuff :smokeit:

Second ones a day behind I hope.

I have a really horrible feeling I only added 5gr of Startrex instead of 50gr to the one that's alive and 5gr of Bactrex instead of 1gr to the one that's not. Dunno why I had 5gr on the mind that day.

@Hippy_BiotabsF70 can I top dress the other 45gr of Startrex and water it in in a few days?

wow. I'm waiting for my cream cookies to arrive! I'm probably going to be week and a half behind you. I'm using coco as well so going to follow your grow. Good luck and can't wait to see it.
It's crazy. I just recieved my package and inside I had a letter from border patrol. They said it's illegal and destroyed my seeds. It's crazy because I live in California but apparently it violates some horticulture code. I'm so sad. Hope seedsman gonna resend them to me.

I wonder about biotabs. Do people achieve same results with them as with bottled nutes?

I reckon so yeah. Basically the tabs feed the soil or coco and that feeds the plants. They still get all the goodness they need, but without the hassle of checking pH, EC or mixing chemicals. You don't even need to flush at the end cause there's no chemicals there to flush out. Awesome innit!!!

I'm pretty sure your seeds are legal though. It's illegal in places to germinate them, but just owning them for souvenir purposes isn't against any laws, even in the UK where the laws are stricter than the US
