Nutrients Biotabs Live Product Testing Coming Soon!

If they're good for autopots, they'd be equally good for my alien easy feed system!

I remember seeing them at Spannabis, but was short on time and unfortunately did not have a chance to properly look into them.
I would love to test this if they'd have me. On one side I run an absolute minimal main rez (basically just basic hydro/coco nutes), but when I'm home (around 85% of the time) I compensate with organic goodness, like compost teas, foliars etc. At first glance, they seem like a great targeted product line. I absolutely love replicating nature. The only reason I don't run full organics is that I've yet to find a compatible product line that works with my system, that does't clog, go algae weird, brew anaerobic bacteria, etc etc.

Anyway great to see more industry folk joining AFN !

Welcome Biotabs, this is a great great forum!

I've gone to strictly organics again, using auto pots. Its like a sigh of relief after running coco and nutes. When running manufactured nutrients, I'm always waiting for something to go wrong.......

This sounds interesting and we've a growing interest here on AFN for auto pots and similar systems. And I'm for anything that gets people of bottled nutes!

I'll volunteer, I'm running 6 of my 12 auto pots right now and may add 1 or 2 more into the mix soon.

@pop22 … what nutes are you using? I've done the entire biobizz line with great success in coco. They actually advised not to do it, but I tried it anyway and it worked wonders. The thing is I was doing one big bucket at a time and top feeding feeding manually. Now I run a main rez with bottom feeding pipes and auto-shut-off valves. This is because at any given time I have to leave for one or two weeks at a time and this systems runs solo. My general perception was that keeping organics in a rez that long is a huge recipe for disaster, let alone all the issues surrounding clogging, algae etc. Added to bottom feeding potential issues, where matter drops and lumps together, slimes up, precipitates etc...

I know its perfectly possible to run organic/hydro setups, but what I'm getting at is I fill a rez up say 500L of nutes, leave for two weeks, come back, no problems. pH and EC are rock solid. I've been doing this for almost 2 years now, and compensate with ogranic love when I'm around. What are you using on autopots?

So yeah, actively looking for a more mother nature friendly solution!

I used GrowMore Sea Grow and I love it, but I just don't like the stress associated with non-organic growing. I've done DWC even, and had one of my best grows ever, but I just don't like messing around and measuring nutes and blah blah blah...lol! I'm a just add water and watch guy lol!

I'm running m,y own organic soil mix in 3.9 gallon auto pots and run just RO water with cal/mag added and ph'd to 6.8. Works like a charm! I've got a 48" tall male in an auto pot right now! I'm finding though that pure citric acid does not hold the ph levels so I'm going back to phosphoric acid as I've never had a problem with ph using it and its never affected my organic grows.
