Lighting BlackStar The Manual

yes coop the spectrum is basicly the same, slightly different.

Yes the spectrum is the same but the numbers aren't,iv just been examining a pic of a blackstar, counting each colour and from what i can see here's a breakdown of a blackstar 240w
38 660nm deep red
30 630nm red
2 white
1 UV
1 IR
8 425nm blue
The 660 nm is the dominant colour followed by 630nm

if that was the case mr t then i would be having the same problem:D i amstill waiting on the pic to see if that shot was with power off! i just went through his thread, they may have been a little close, but not close enough to burn them. and the tops would be burned first!

You shouldnt have the same probs mate as the blackstars you have are very different to what groff has in regards to amount of 660nm,he hardly has any where as the blackstars have that as the primary colour.its not just a case of having the right spectrum, you need the right amount of each colour to get maximum growth and flowering.

the only way his spectrum is changed is if he has the ho model or they are a lot older than mine or yours? you cant go by his pic, brcause i think that photo is when power is off? i am a little confused:crying::D

The confusion is hes calling them blackstars mate, but he got them direct from china not gotham, and from the specs hes put up there not the same as gothams

you da man coop!:bow:i didn't catch that they were knockoff's!:crying::o
