Perfect man. I'm totally taking that photo into my LHS to buy my goodies. Im getting pretty excited to do my first grow. Hope i'm not biting off more than i can chew with absolutely no hydro experience.
Starting up with a 4 pot DWC setup with 2 mars II 900w on a light mover in a 2mx2mx2.3m tent. I may actually end up with a tiny stealth tent and a smaller light to start the grows off. I have a pretty strict 12 week window i wanna be able to pull the tent down every 3 months when my landlord comes around, and put it up again the next day lol. Autoflowers have really made growing my own possible, i was sceptical at first but journal on top of journal proving to me that you can go seed to weed in 9-12 weeks....

I'd say well clear of wood as anything pourus will soak up moisture and grow mould.

Buy one bucket and two lids if one lid isn't going to be strong enough. Cut the very edges of one lid off, stick them together with some non toxic glue in the middle like a sandwich of two lids.

Get a net pot and get a hole saw for a drill that's ever so slightly small than the net pot. Drill a hole into the lid and sit the net pot into the hole.

Cheers for the info. It did occur to me that mdf or something wouldn't be a good idea. I was thinking of villa board or blueboard, but the double lid idea is a beauty thanks.

most bucket lids I've seen are more than strong enough. Heck, I've got an 18 gallon tote with a flimsy lid, yet its holding 6, 5" netpots just fine

Hey guys, this is the last day of PK week and tomorrow she will get a reduced EC feed for a little recovery time before flushing for one week. There are still quite a few white pistils but they are outnumbered now by the brown. Nothing I could do to stop the fan leaves giving up so she looks quite bare now in comparison to my Dragons. Delaying the bloom switch definitely had an impact on her life cycle so I'll be sticking to the general consensus from now on (switch at 7-10 days after showing sex). Sorry Hazy I know you tried to warn me..I just had to experience it to wrap my head around it! I gave her another dose of PK 13/14 at 15ml, this is the last PK boost she will receive.
