Okay so onwards with an update. I added in 3ml of calmag diluted in a litre of water to try and combat the marks. I'm not worried as these leaves don't tend to last long anyway and she is getting a res change in the morning as today is day 7 of week 1. Here are some pics from today.

And the most exciting news of the week..this little girl is gonna have a neighbour!

Hey guys, today is the start of week 2 for my BAM. I swapped her res this morning to keep things fresh, she seems content at 0.8 EC and PH 5.7 and I will adjust accordingly when needed. This new res consists of 30ml Rhizotonic, 6ml CalMag, up to 0.8 ec with Canna start. Her new room mate has officially moved in today, should see roots in a few days but check my other journal for her progress
One change I have made is I've connected 4mm airline and a small airstone to both 30lpm pumps. By doing this I hope to keep the levels of oxygen in the res reasonably high but without too much pressure for the new roots, Ive had quite a lot break off with the powerful air diffuser hooked up! It's just a little experiment but I'll keep you posted on the results. Enjoy the pics

Hey guys, got a few pics for you today, it doesn't look like the strange marks are gonna stop, does anyone have any ideas what it could be? EC is 0.8 PH 5.7. I don't want it to spread through the whole plant so any advice on how to combat this would be great!

No idea bro but it could be, even with seedling food you can burn them I guess! gonna double check my ph meter just to be safe although I calibrate weekly after the first attempt! Her colour is nice and her smell is dank already which leads me to believe she's happy now, must have just over done it at the very beginning thinking she could handle 0.9/1.0 ec with canna start..live and learn people xD Thanks for looking in on me all the same Tang man! :smokebuds:
