Hey guys thought I'd take a few pics when I was adjusting the res - today is day 3, week 3. Things aren't perfect but I believe she's off to a better start than her late sister. Minimal root damage in comparison to last time, only 3/4 have broken - gonna get that diffuser changed at some point soon. On a side note I have noticed the buckets are running on average 1 degree higher now that they only receiving half the amount of air so at some point when the roots are more established I may start running the two pumps as a preventative measure. She still seems happy at 0.8EC maybe even a little too high but I will monitor, PH 5.7-5.8, not bad for 17 days. Anyway enough ramblings, here are the pics.
You can see the Dragon babies in the last shot and if anyone was wondering it's literally just white paper to help bounce the light back up..gonna modify these buckets before summer so they're fully insulated/reflective. Even just wrapping polystyrene around the buckets helps to keep things cool - more than I expected. That's all for now folks, questions/advice/comments always welcome
Hey guys got a few more pics for ya. Ive dropped the ec to 0.6 just to ensure I'm not pushing her too hard still. Had some overfeeding with a baby dragon at 0.8 so gonna start all plants off at 0.6 in the future. PH 5.7-5.8. Side branching going crazy, I love DP's genetics they have a strong will to live
