Lighting Blue AutoMazar - DWC Round 2 by Pal

Hey guys, back with an update. Tomorrow is the start of week 5 so she'll get a res change in the morning. This girl has been a pleasure to grow so far, since we got the levels right she's just been doing her thing, averaging about an inch a day before stretch.. She's still happy with an EC of 0.8, 0.7 this week for a few days and no signs of slowing down. Ph 5.7. I forgot to make a note of when she showed sex but it was within the last week, pistils are developing but no bud sites yet - I'll let her veg for as long as she wants. I've seen a few people experimenting recently with doses of N during flowering by keeping the veg nutes in the res - anyone care to explain this? I could feed veg and bloom together to make a transition? Thoughts/advice/comments welcome, enjoy the pics :peace:

Hey guys, today is the start of week 5 for my BAM which means res change:
7.5ml Rhizotonic
8ml CalMag
4ml Silicon
up to 0.8 EC (1.2 on my meter) with Canna Vega A+B
Ph 5.7

I had set her res at 0.7 a few days ago to assure I wasn't pushing her too hard and by today she had let me know she can definitely handle it. I predict over this next week or so she will be asking for even more..nice girl with a good appetite that's what we want! In natural light she is quite dark green and around where the bud sites will form is just slightly lighter green, I'm adding this info because sometimes the pictures are not an accurate representation, especially when under the LED's. She is 20" away from the GN at this point.

Got a few pictures from today, she's growing rapidly now and changes every day. Pistils are all over the place and the bud sites are beginning to shape up..I'm guessing she will start stretching a lot very soon, still in two minds on when to switch her over to bloom or to keep the veg nutes present..any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated :) Still happy at 0.8EC but as stated in my last update I'm pretty sure she will want more soon, can't wait for her to go crazy

I like to switch to bloom around 10 days after showing sex, which i feel gives me the best chance of getting the plant to maturity, before it starts to die off.

I've seen a few people using the same 10 day rule but not for that reason? Could they possibly die off before it's mature? I thought it must mature and then die..could just be me being a noob! Thanks for stopping by though mate, it is appreciated! I think we're around the 10 day mark since showing sex so I may make the switch soon, just don't want to limit her veg potential by switching up too soon. :Sharing One:

p.s really tempted to tie down my SD after looking through your journals, she's coming up to the three week marker but I want to keep her relatively short so I will most likely tie down the top and try a very basic version of your crazy LST - thanks for the inspiration, nice to have a detailed journal explaining the process, invaluable to the community :slap:

Here's my thinking, it's an auto and it has a finite life cycle, driven by the ruderalis that was used to create the auto trait. from what i've seen, if you hold off with the bloom nutes, you retard the flowering process and risk the plants coming to the end of their life cycle before the Trichomes have matured, that's why i think some people can't get their plants to amber up as the plant itself is finished but the trichomes never had the time to mature. Thanks for the kind words too mate.

Just my 2 cents on veg nutes from what i have seen and experienced in my first grow the autoflower has different cycles it goes through so if somehow you extend this cycle, im assuming the "strech" is its own cycle then flower. This would allow wild rudarillis to take advantage of better conditions to produce bigger stronger plants.
