This is a Blue Mystic auto that was a happy mistake; a friend needed 3 plants and I germinated 4 seeds, and they all popped. it went in soil in mid July, way too late here (Hampton VA) to finish outdoors. I started tying it down to a wooden dowel affixed to the top of the milk crate after it had 4 nodes. The main stalk went one way, and I grabbed the first stalk to show below the bend and ran it 180 degrees the along the dowel the other way. The first stalk that showed above the bend was sent in the same direction (180 degrees from the main stalk).

Other stalks were sent to the corners of the milk carton and tied down. They’ve all made the 90 degree turn upward toward the light.

had a mild caterpillar/work problem I solved with Green Cleaner, Monterey Spinosad and Monterey BT over the course of a couple weeks, with a lot of plucking of live/dead bodies. I moved it indoors a couple days ago and it seems to be digging it’s new home. The stretch has stopped, and I wound up with a whole bunch of spindly stalks that are starting to fill in. Some of them are nearly a foot tall.

The indoor grow space consists of a Mylar lined tub/shower with a wooden frame above. Above the frame is a 6 inch fan and carbon filter that draws from the enclosure. Helps with smell and temps. Hanging on the back wall pointing in is a four fixture 4 foot T5 light with three 3500k standard T5 bulbs and an LED T5 bulb.

hanging down from the frame is a Mars Hydro TSL3000 LED fixture, running at 100% about a foot and half above the plant.

Hanging at the front of the enclosure, pointing inward is a six fixture T5 light with five 3500k T5 bulbs, and an LED T5 bulb. The plant catches direct light from three directions, ain't a single shadow in there...

hanging above the enclosure, out of the way for now, are a pair of two foot T5 lights, each with a 3500kmT5 bulb, and a 10,000k finishing bulb. I’ll bring that into the scheme in a couple weeks. I used these on an earlier grow and discovered the sweet spot was 15 min/hr for the middle 4 hrs of the light period. Anything beyond that fried the plants. The 10,000k bulb is pretty intense.

It is in week 10 of flowering, and I’m gonna push it to 12 weeks to matchup with delivery of a Cannatrol drying cabinet I ordered. My last harvest/dry resulted in some pretty air buds, that are still, potent and fragrant, but I’d like something denser out of this one. I noticed some leaves near the tops of the colas getting dark around the edges and I thing that it a phosphorous deficiency. That’s to be remedied with Mammoth P, Koolbloom and GH ripen over a few days.

the best thing about having it in the crate is I can pull it out of the tub easily for trimming/inspection etc. I used to grow up to 4 plants in the tub, but had to keep them well trained vertically which was a pain, so it’ll be one plant at a time from now on. Lay ‘er out flat, and let ’er rip...

Probably the last time out of the tub enclosure for defoliation and inspection. The colas are filling in from the bottom, and throwing off white pistils at the ends of the branches so still a couple weeks to go...
