75 Days And Blue Onyx Harvested!

This one felt like an epic grow to me and the result was interesting. I'm well happy with it, but I can't get over the uniformity of both phenos; both heavy sati doms and identical, like IBLs instesd of random F1s. They colored up and purpled and are sticky as honeycomb! Real hempy smell.

Gal #1 was the bigger of the two and jamming these leggy ladies into my cab was a trick, I can tell ya! Easily three zips on this one.

Gal #2 was smaller yet identical to her sister, same huge nugs, same sticky, same odor...bizarre really cause the last time I grew these seeds I got three differing phenos from three different plants. Just don't make sense...

Okay, so I said if I got good results with this run -- even though they're inexplicably different from the last batch, which were also great -- I'd give Stitch props, and I am! There's still good stuff in that mess he (or his 'breeders' or whatever) were putting out at the end there. So, props, Stitch, from Chico de AFN!

...Thing is, and I'm seriously knida wrapped about it, these gals -- huge nugs on sizable plants grown in just 1.5 liter airpots, or 'starters' as someone earlier in this thread put it -- were pregnant with pollen from a Stone/Black Dragon grow I've just finished!! Kinda, ummm, naughty, I know, but he who laughs last, an all that--!!

Howdy,

I should have taken some pics of the finished nugs but I'm too baked to bother -- and man these things are a strong smoke, no, really, they're impressive potent! A brilliant high, equal head and body. If you're the apprehensive type and overdo it you may get a touch of anxiety -- it's real heady at the start -- but all good if you're a regular toker. Hope future runs of this queer little hybrid are as productive.

Great effort South, do you feel that they would of yielded more if in bigger pots?

Sure do man; bigger pots and more space and a tad more light and these things would yield very well - not the tight nugs most of us are used to but when you cram 'em in hard and give 'em enough light and weigh them at the end they yield well as anything. They'd be ideal for scrog grows. Smoke is definitely after the Onyx, very even body, nice and strong.
