Hi all

I have started a new grow, it is Blueberry diesel auto, i am growing 2 of these at the same time, i have started them already from seed and straight into there final pots, my tent can just about fit 2 in at a time,i usually only do one at a time, but i thought i would do 2, the reason being i am going to experiment a little on this one, i am letting one grow normally the other i am going to defoliate along the way to see how it affects things, please feel free to give any advice or any pointers along the way.
I will update regular with more pictures, here are the seeds sprouting, and in there pots now 3 days from showing themselves.

Cheers guys

Hey channy

Congratulations on starting your first grow. I like to defoliate starting pretty early really. Most of the time the plants respond by getting bigger and putting on fatter buds. But I have stunted some on occasion.

Anyway, I'll follow along [emoji5]

blueberry diesel sounds like some fire , hopefully you get some good results from you experiment bro:vibes::digit:
I have grown this a few times, and trust me it blows you away, i dont know why or maybe it is me but it certainly creeps up on you.
I will put some pics up later of my last one, my problem is i think i take them down too soon, but the effect i get is mind blowing, wish i could share some so people could try it.

And here they are, just under two weeks since they popped out of the soil, i am going to st

art them on Grow nutes next week as they seem to be doing ok.
I used to grow them in BioBizz light using grow and bloom, but on my last one i had ran out of Bio soil, so i picked up a bag of multi purpose compost from Aldi for 99p and it grew very well so i am sticking with it, but still using Bio Gro and Bloom.

Looks real good, if it's too early it's not by very much maybe a week or two at the most. I think you managed to get most of the weight on though, so it looks looks fine to me.

Cheers, it is a really good smoke as well.

These two that i am doing i am going to defoliate one to compare them, i have read loads and read many different opinions so i thought i would try it, i only grow one at a time anyway so as long as i get a good amount off the one i don't clip its all good, i will post pics along the journey, when do you usually start clipping yours.

I'm probably a bad guy to follow as far as when to start clipping your plants. I usually start about day 10 to 14 and then I never stop. Early on what I'm trying to do is slow down the faster growing parts of the plant. That's the way I like to level my canopies. Then if I want to I can spread the branches out later or usually they just get so fat and heavy with buds they flop out outwards. Later on in the grow I'm defoliating mainly to expose the bud sites and get the buds as fat as possible.

It seems like most plants I've tried respond well to my technique but I've been doing this a little while but I've seen guys really Crash and Burn hard that try and just copy what I do.

A safer bet would be to wait until about 21 days to remove some of the bigger fans that might be blocking two or three Bud sites at the same time. Although, cleaning up leaves underneath that get water and nutrients on them is okay after about 14 also.
