What's the right size packet for optimal performance in one quart Mason jars?

Those are the 8 gram.
Are they correctly used while in the burping phase (and beyond) or when you plan to leave the jars shut for a spell? In other words does opening the jars daily pretty much negate the Boveda's action?

Hi Turtle,

The Boveda packs actually can either absorb or release moisture to maintain the 62% RH so the are fine to use during the burping phase

are these reusable? or do they have some type of shielf life or limit to how often they get used?

ya know they are done when they are dry n brittle n dont bend anymore.thats when you replace em.they can sit if in a sealed pouch they come in for years.ive had some in jars for two years almost myself.just put extra in the jar if yer opening it all the time,or 1 will work if your not.8 gram paks should do ya juust fine.10 er 12 should last ya a bit.

I had a couple dry out on me. They get crispy, so I put them in a jar without weed and some water. It took like two days and they were fluid again! I dont know if they are still good, but if they are im going to use my crispy old ones to help dry out some bud that isn't quite at that stem cracking stage!!! ????!!!!?:dunno:
