Lighting Brand New Grower, Needs T5 Advice.

I think most of us prefer 2 (4', 4-bulb lamps) instead of 1 (4', 8-bulb lamp). I've personally never seen a 2', 8-bulb t-5 lamp advertised, but they may exist.

Thanks for the input y'all, I have heat issues down here in Tx., after seeing what can be done with the T5's, that may be the way to go. Looking around for ideas for a 5'x5'x8' tent. Any advice is welcome. :howdy:

T5 lights are awesome but I should advise not to go with those VHO lights because they have much lower overall efficiency (lumens per watt of electricity) and you should better get two HO fixtures than one VHO one. I myself use Hydrofarm products and they are working without problems.

Hey stick man are you cool on lights now? If not I got a site my uncle used to grab lights, the shroud that comes with it are janky but pebbled. 4 bulb set up for less than 80.
