Hey guys im 3 days away from the 4 week mark im finally seeing the plants go into the pre-flower stage but i am having a issue with the plants. They are growing extrodinarily fast but these brown/copper rust spots just started popping up on all of the plants. I have them in FFOF with about 4 inches of seedling soil on top. I havent begun using nutrients yet either i was waiting for the plant to show me signs are these the signs ? I ph my water to around 5.9-6.4 each watering and they get water ever two to three days. I have went through multiple threads on here looking for this issue but cant seem to find one thats spot on. Also today i realized the new growth is really skinny and it seems to have the tips pointed down like claws on the new growth only i.e (newest node forming) i took pictures i hope that will give you guys a better look at what im talking about

Okay give me a second im gonna get some regular light pics but those spots would apear from just straight ph water hitting the leaves ?

Anything that focuses light or if tips of leaves are touching and sweating they start to eat them.

Okay you very well maybe on to something because i have been misting them regularly with ph water. Wouldnt light burn turn them like a whiter looking color though ?

This is the exact thing that happened to my grow. Hopefully you can get it figured out, and quick. It will get away from you extremely quick. My 2 cents would be keeping your ph more on the upper side of what you’re currently giving them. 5.9 is low for soil. I believe you want to be somewhere in the 6.5-6.7 range. To me it looks like calcium def.
are you using tap water? Or RO? From my understanding is the blurple LED’s make a plant use tons of calcium.
Unfortunately mine got away from me too fast for me to correct the issue in time and if I did it was too late to really tell.
Good luck and I will keep along with the thread to see if waira comes along.

Im using tap water that i let sit for 24hrs it does look like it could be calcium def or the ph might be just two low for now im going to stop spraying them only a nice little spray before the lights go out. When it happened to your plants did you flush them ? Im thinking of flushing them with the higher ph tap water around 6.4 and see if that keeps it from happening. I hope it doesnt get to far out of hand im just now in week for and it could really affect the yield and overall growth

It looks like a calcium deficiency man, I wouldn't flush if I were you unless absolutely necessary. I would raise the ph of my feeds to 6.5-6.8ish and add cal-mg at full strength and see what happens. Affected leaves won't change but keep an eye on others to see if the problem persists. I only grow outdoors so take what I say with a grain of salt :toke:

I did not flush. I had a few things going on I believe. It was my first grow and expected some problems. Learned a few things and will try for a more successful grow on my 2nd.
As far as yields went I believe I will still do ok. I’m in flush right now so I won’t have numbers for a few weeks but I was surprised with all the issues how big my colas have gotten.
