Browning leaf tips

..okay,... you got a better look, huh? Ah! and now, in that light, I do too--- your buds aren't as far along as they looked from those earlier pics,... you have a couple weeks likely still,... keep checkin' them though, to get a sense of how quickly they go about maturing,...and help gauge when to start cleansing...:coffee2:Ayuh!...keep feeding Jen, but for this moment, I'd skip a round or two, and see what happens with those tips and margins,... the buds look great, so they aren't hurting for anything, given what I see in their structure,... Whether it's nute burn, or a P defc., is still uncertain-- :slaps: -diagnostics are a bitch sometimes!! Early symptoms can be ambiguous because many overlap in their appearance at this point,... Like Muddy says, we'll have to watch if the edges start browning out-- that is diagnostic of P defc.,... but you've been feeding pretty heartily, and FF bloom is fairly strong stuff, so IMHO, I'm still leaning toward a touch of burn,... Jen, pH hasn't been brought up..do you have a soil pH reading for us? It is, so often, at the root of these issues,...
I'd quit the Ca-Mg altogether now, and for the moment, 'til we see what's up with the tips, skip the molasses too,.. your inputs have been on the heavy side (noting your feed sched'), and we don't want a potential toxicity issue to start up! ..too much Mg or Ca (or many others) can lead to uptake problems with other nutes.... A honey dose during this feed rest is fine though-- get those soil 'crobes busy, maybe help remove temporarily some of the extra nutes in the soil,... As for the tips, has the browning out expanded since? A little is expected,... Let's see what a few days brings, okay? :Sharing One:....How do those girls smell Jen? :brow: I, am an aromatics slut!!

So no nutes for now. Got it! :check: I'll keep an eye on the trichs. Begin cleanse when half are cloudy? :dunno: As for the FF trio, the Tiger Bloom is pretty stout, but the Big Bloom isn't (I don't think, anyway). The percentages are in 10ths and 100ths. I could swear that someone told me it was good to use with every watering. Regardless, it's out for now.

No, I don't have a soil test meter. I know, I need one and will get before I start next grow. I've been far too busy buying vaporizers with fancy wands and mouthpieces and shit. I'm an idiot :slaps:

To monitor the soil pH I've just been testing the runoff. It's pretty consistently in the 6.5 range. I have had to pH up the input to get that neutral of an output, though. The Ocean Forest I got is way acidic. First runoff test from flushing before I planted the girls was less than 5. Won't be making that mistake again, I promise!

:bow:You're my hero, W. Wish I could pay you and all the rest of the gang back somehow for the words of wisdom and encouragement. I'll pay it forward one day, for sure. "AFN smoke out"

:peace:, y'all!

Oh, and the smell…. Cheeeeezy :brow: Very, very cheeeeezy. :smoke:

:slaps:-oops! I forgot to talk about BB,... yes indeed, it's mild stuff,...I treat it like a supplement, not a fert', and it's good anytime, IMO... I use it nearly every feeding, or water with it alone,...great for the soil herd and the plant! *** Yeah, let's watch those tips for a bit, then you can start again- soon I hope! *** Weeeeelll,...cloudy stage trich's tend to hold that way pretty well, and different strains can behave differently in their ripening,... that's why i say to watch them, every day or so, to see how they progress.... changes don't happen overnight, especially into amber, but by observing regularly, you'll start to get "calibrated" for this,... ***.... LOL! Hey, no more smokey toys, until you get grow-outfitted first!! I'd start with an Accurate 8 soil pH probe, about $60,.... it comes widely recommended and praised, and best of all, it gives actual pH's directly in the soil, none of this run-off minkey-F**k business,... OY! Fux Farms soils are on my shwag list now,... those dicks are going South with their quality control these days! I, and so many others here, have had HF and OF in the low 5's pH,... I switched to soils from Sanctuary Soil and Feed-- Empire Builder and/or Victory blends... beautifully amended, and not too hot,...look'm up!
:stylez rasta smoke:Thank you honey, that's a nice thing to say,.. No extra charge!! And I'm doing just that-- paying it forward myself! I had plenty of help and tips, and your first (?) grow is waaay better than mine was! :WTF: I roasted the crap outta them using an orchid food that was much to hot,...:fire:....so, grow some fine-ass nuggies, and we're square!

*** PS:... Niiiice,.....grew a photo this season called Grape Hash Plant,..., she smells like a cheese and fruit danish! And hits with a velvet hammer!!

Yes, first grow of anything. Never even had a houseplant. My yard is a complete wasteland. I think maybe it helps going in with absolutely NO knowledge. That way you have to ask many ??????

Somebody needs to make a little "heart" emoji. I "heart" you, W! You and all the others are so generous and patient. I lurk on another canna site, and those guys are ass holes "Swivel" You can glean some decent info from it, but pretty much every thread has some snarky bitch ragging on either the question or the responses. NOT :Cool bud: !!!!!

:peace: and I'll keep y'all posted. :tiphat:

One last thing: trich pics

trich1112a.jpg trich1112b.jpg trich1112c.jpg trich1112d.jpg trich1112e.jpgtrich1112f.jpg
Can you all tell how they look? I'm leaning toward clear. Dang it, I'm ready to wrap this already!!!!

You have clear, cloudy and amber.

The third pic (as they are presented) has a lot of amber in it. Is it a picture from the top of the plant?

Personally, I would say just start the cleanse and run a full 14 days with it, then take another look
and see if it's where you want it, if not, cleanse a little longer. Not going to hurt anything. :)

Hey Trap, my bro :tiphat: OMG!!! Really!?!?! Yes, pics are all from the top sections of the plants. There are definitely some of the lower reaches that are much less mature. That's normal, right? The plants are so bushy, I can't imagine how those baby buds will mature. On that note, what do you do with those little guys when harvested? Thanks for visiting us in the hospital! I think we're checking out tonight :d5:

Well, you could attempt a "tiered harvest" where you take the mature stuff at the top and let the
rest go...it tends to improve for that lower stuff once their umbrella is taken away. :)

...and yes, that's normal ;)

Thanks, man! I think we'll keep it simple for this one. They'll all coming down at once.

Don't know if you read my earlier post in this thread about adding a "heart" emoji to the collection, but I "heart" you, buddy. You've always been here for me and it's most appreciated.
