Sorry to hear about the hospital trip sis. Hope everything is ok and you're feeling better! :smokebuds:

Awesome save on the girlies. The fact that they came back so easily is a testament to how healthy they were before you had to leave them for a few days. They all look happy and healthy! :smokebuds:

Thank you! It wasn't much fun but there was free ice cream, and that's all that really matters right? The only real downer is I cant smoke for awhile so my day will be spent in the kitchen whipping up some edibles [there is always a way!]

I was actually shocked at just how fast they bounced back! Gonna add first round of nutes tomorrow. Everyone says they like the Widow, and although the runt of the litter, she was the jem! Until today that is. The Blueberry is STUNNING! Same color as the Widow but so full and luscious, makes my mouth water!

Issue currently at hand? The smell! I know I was warned, but I guess I didn't expect it to be this bad! Well, good for me, bad for dad. He built me the room with the understanding that I would do something about the smell [he hates it], which I haven't done yet and I feel bad. Don't want the man to be uncomfortable in his own house you know? So, whats my best option? I'm pretty good at DIY, but time is kind of limited, that being said...I'm a college student and don't have a grand to drop, so any advice/tips/tricks/links are welcome!

I would say that a carbon filter and in-line fan are a good option and would cost less than $200 for a good set. Don't know exactly how your ventilation set up is though? Haven't really seen a picture of your set up, just your plants.

Have a looksy here for some ideas: https://www.autoflower.org/f25/wind-tunnel-phresh-filter-review-12655.html

I know funds are tight, but your carbon filter is your last line of defense against nosey noses. You won't have to drop a grand, but you might have to drop $200 to get a good combo from a reputable company. The peace of mind it will give you (and papa dukes) will be worth every cent.

I'm using a Phat filter and it's the bomb diggy. :smokebuds:

You know what I really love about this place? No one sits there and say's "buy this, it works!" Instead, I get just enough info to base my searches on. I'm the type who loves learning, so as easy as it would be to have someone walk me through this process step by step, I've quite enjoyed actually learning the "how's" and "why's" of it all. This way, if the Zombie Apocalypse ever does come...not only will I survive that shit, but I'll be tokin' till the end!

All that aside, I have looked into my options and spoken with Pa' Dukes and come to a conclusion that it'd be a GREAT idea to purchase the Carbon Filter and Fan that Muddy suggested. Now, he [father] mentioned connecting the duct to an adjacent bathroom fan. Does this seem like a good plan? Worthy of mention is that aside from me opening the door constantly to take pics and obsess over the girls, there is no other source of ventilation as of now.

when I decided that the guestroom closet would be converted into grow space, and the tent would be re-located to the shed...I needed a new exhaust and filter system for the closet....we found a bathroom fan that was quiet and installed it in the cieling with the outlet going to the soffit.....this left us with a fan but no carbon filter....instead we use a Ozn-50 Ozone generator....hides smell very well and it cost around $50...

So, in case you live under a rock, Obama is still the president of the United States of America, weed has been legalized in a couple US States, as is Gay Marriage. Oh ya, its also day 34 and I haven't killed these things yet.

Sadly...the good news ends there.

These ladies are angrier than a mean girl stood up for prom!

Warning: Always read the back of the bottle! If you don't, you just may end up sticking a pressurized and FLAMMABLE substance that should be stored in a "cool, dry place" in an enclosed humidified space under a 1000w light. SHOCKER! That shits gonna explode!

Clearly I made this mistake, and the outcome was me spending 6 hours meticulously cleaning ever leaf and steam of my plants. However, I missed a few spots, pictures of damage and other problems will follow...

For now, a group shot...

Dont know if this is related to the explosion, but it is the plant hit hardest by the explosion.

This is where [even after my cleaning efforts] a drop of the oily substance remained. The picture doesn't capture it well but its not Brown, its actually a Metallic gold. This leaf in itself has actually been stunted and not growing like its opposite.

Rando spots I missed while cleaning.

Had trouble captureing this, but the "stems" of the leaves are a purpleish/redish/brownish color. Only on top though, still green underneath. This is one of the plants that avoided the explosion so there is something else at work here. I'll look into it, but any advice is appreciated.

A better pic of the purpleish color.
