Hey dude sweet setup i have grown PK along with a few other growers here i have a full grow log if you want to have a look throught it Bare in mind it was one of my very first grows lmao the smell,Bag appeal and taste is truley wonderful and im sure you will enjoy it mate :smokebuds:

Hey guys I have 2 quick questions...
1. Even though my plants are only about 1 day old and just sprouted as u can see, is it ok to run my lights 20/4 or should I leave them on 24/7 until they get a little bigger?
2. How much should I be watering? They jus broke the surface last night and I been keeping the soil moist around the baby but I don't really no how much or how often I should be giving it water...or when I should stop using a sprayer and start actual watering, I don't wanna under or over do it can somebody clear things up

1. Either is just fine. I usually just set or rather keep, mine on 20/4 all the time. I say the plant needs rest/darkness sometimes.
2. What size pots are you starting in? I water my pots or cups before hand and then plant. And usually wait until the pot is light and dry. You want that tap root to search out as far as it can looking for water, so if you keep water right at the surface all the time it hinders it from rooting out so much. I used to have an issue with over watering so I had to learn to 'starve' them sorta. But it has totally turned around for me and works. After they have two sets of leaves I give them a 'full' watering. If you have a proper mix that is light and airy and has good drainage then it shouldn't be to easy to over water.

Thanks squid i agree ill give mine some sleep.
And when I bought my pots from the hydroponic store the guy said they were 5 gallons but on the pot it actually says " 4.02 gallons ". So I guess 4 gallons. What do u recommend since I didn't prewater my soil?

Went back and looked at your pics. Looks like they're pretty moist on top. I would keep misting the few inches radius around the seedling but don't soak it. And pour literally a teaspoon full at the base. And then make sure you wait for that to dry pretty good. It's way harder to under water than it is to over water at this point in its' early stages.
Then as it grows a little bigger after a few days of that you can probably pour half a shot(about 1/2oz) of ph water in. And after it's second set of true leaves you could water pretty good. I have never used
soil and don't know how the drainoff works. I know that with my Promix BX with added perlite I could fully water at that point and all the excess would drain off well, especially in Airpots. Hope this helps.

As u can see one of the baby's still has the seed attached, should I take off or just let it be?
And I heard a 400w should be about 18 inches above is that true?
