New Grower Budsons First Dank Den - Pineapple Express & White Widow!

Small update & some DIY shenangains
Nothing much to say it's day five for the pineapple express, day 4 for the white widow, both have there second set of leaves slowly coming out, coming in at a whooping 3cm is the PE, followed by the WW at 2.4cm, light cycle is 20/4 i planned on 16/8 but shizz happens haha. here's some happy snaps guys :smoke:
So my cupboard isn't very light proof, and its at the end of my bed so sleeping of is a night mare as you can see
a quick look in the man cave and i came across some old fabric mum has, (shhh guys i don't think she'd like me using her hundreds of dollars fabric hahah)
cut some to shape and stapled it up, the result is 100% better, some reason the fabric has dampened the sound of the fan i can not hear anything and there is no light, winner winner chicken dinner! looking forward to an easy night of sleep tonight :drool: heres some photos before and after.
On monday i'll be going to gather bits and pieces for a DIY carbon filter, witch means usage of power tools will be needed mwahaha! :twist:

I need help!! I'm a little worried for one of my babies, the WW has not grow in the last 2-3 days, it's stayed the same whilst the PE has been taking off as you can see in one of the photos the size difference, i have not touched/stressed or even looked at it wrong they have had the same treatment from day one, its day 6 for the WW and one week for the PE, can a plant get stunted this early in life? is there anything i can do for it? or should i just wait it out and hope it takes of soon? i dont know my water PH but i boil all water 24 hours before a slight misting, like i said both plants have been treated identical ive even dropped the height a few cm hopping for a bit of stretch over the night, all i can put it down to is its stunted, anyone else got an idea of whats happening? heres a few pics :dunno:

i would say its PH problems, do you check your PH ? and maat how far away is your light in inches ?
I dont have a PH pen at the moment jack but i'm getting on to it wont have one for another week or so yet, but if it was PH problems i'd imagine the bag seed and pineapple express would show some problems as well, i posted in the sick plants forum and i've put it down to under watering, i watered them till i got run off witch i havent done yet that was about 2 hours ago and the WW has now lifted its leaves up like they usualy do when lights go on, so im hoping that fixed ah! i'll update tomorrow let y'all know if there been an improvement, oh and my light is currently 5 inchs (15cm) away from the tops of the plants, is that good distance or to much? how high do you run your dual CFL at one week old?

Like I said in sick plants give her another week, She should start to run away on you. Just the way your pheno wants to grow Short and stocky. I have my lights about 3 inches away from my canopy, 9 CFL's above them and with a fan moving the air in my cab. Hope you have better luck with the PE's than I did. Grew two barney's farm PE's in 2012 and did not like them at all, Mutant bushy no bud plant full of trichs, turned it into the budder and the other looked like a pot plant with nuggetry but was not potent at all. Seen grows since then with it and was good but I will never try that strain again. I dont boil my water I just let it sit out for 24hrs for the chlorine to disperse a bit and find it works fine,but I just use straight water from the up here and that works fantasticaly. Good Luck
Cheers Med i'll drop the light another inch in that case, ive got a PC fan attached to my hood so that keeps the heat off the little ones, Yeah im really hoping i manage to get a good pheno i decided to read some journals AFTER i brought the seeds and from what a read barney's havent really dialed in the strain yet, hope they have come along way in 2 years thou, and i'd like to do it some justice and prove its a good strain, hope i can pull some witchcraft off under this CFL, i still have another PE seed spare im saving for when i move to coco growing, see if theres an improvement :Sharing One:
Nothing wrong with CFL growin man. Ive been growin with them for 2 1/2 yrs and love em. I would like to upgrade to those super CFL's those 150 plus watters would be cool or a T5.The only thing that I would like to get is that gram per watt yeild. Havent been able to get it at this point yet. One day Im going to grow my plants under LED's, Cant afford them yet.
i keep my light at 5-6 inches from top of plant, from day 1 to the end mate, that why i like CFL's keep them close just make sure they don't TOUCH it unless you want to stop her growing 5 second touch and she wont grow up to more lol hope it helps kid
I'm hearing ya Medicated bro! i wouldn't mind two of the 200watters, but atm lately ive been tight on cash tied up in my one of meany fines lol, i'd like to grow under LEDs too they would be my first option but for a decent one your paying far to much i dont have that kinda $$$ laying around, i scored a cheap 14w LED with my CFL's when i brought them, so when its time to flower ill be testing that out should be good!

still no news on the WW if anything its kinda turning yellow/lime green, if now changes in next 48 hours ill put it in the ground out side and get my sweet skunk going.. Man im keen to grow that one!! :firedevil:
