Need to sanitize tent before use, and of course if you are doing photos, needs to be light tight. Autoflowers, small pin holes do not matter

to be honest i would never buy one used you could get it and it may have dodgy zips ect and as padwan said you would need to disinfect it in case its had bugs in it but you can buy budget ones on ebay quite cheap

I'm apprehensive about buying anything used, unless it's a car or bike.

Tents can be had to cheaply to go with used... unless you've got a buddy that has a great tent he's getting rid of... if you can't get hands on, buy new. The $ you pay for a cheap new tent will be money your not spending fixing someone else's crap! I got a 5X5 shipped for 100$ and I saw a couple cheaper options @ the time. I'm a year down the road, and she's holding up great! It's an Apollo tent, but am pretty sure a couple of the cheap tents are the same maker, with different piping. Green... purple...

go cheap and cheerful new pal buying used fans lights ect is all good but tents i have a 4x4 budbox i think it is cost about 70 pounds tops its up to you though mate good luck on your adventure

I bought a 6” RVK on that well-known auction site. Turned out they sold it because it was noisy and they obviously thought it was knackered.......they were wrong! Bought some quality skateboard wheel bearings off eBay for about £5, opened her up, replaced the bearing. Good as new! Spent £30 total.
Saying that, I bought a cheap tent. The quality leaves a lot to be desired......
