New Grower cal/mg deficiency or ? berry bomb auto day 23

Hey Nick, your soil ph will be higher with adding dolomite lime. As per Muddy's explanation of Pro-mix, it is around 7 out of the bag. Amended with Aluminum Sulfate, you soil ph will drop to 6.2-6.3 Here is the link-

I've revised my pH numbers up a bit with Pro Mix. Now I try to maintain around 6.3 - 6.4. I was getting lockout on some strains at 5.9 and 6. I like HP for LEDs, CFLs and T5s, BX for HPS. BX holds a bit more moisture and tends to stay too wet under low heat lights. The only exception is if you're using Air Pots. HP tends to dry out too quickly, even under low heat lights, so I'd recommend BX for air pots. The starting pH of Pro Mix is usually about 7 right out of the bag. I've done a lot of experimenting to lower the starting pH and have found 17% aluminum sulfate to be the most effective. At the rate of 4 grams per gallon of mix it lowers the pH to around 6.3 when measured the day after feeding, slowing rising to about 6.6 as the soil dried out.

what is the ph of your water going in?? what is the ph of water coming out? These 2 numbers will tell you alot of things and where you need to make adjustments. My "My 2 cents". RR is spot on!!! PH mate!!

Cal/mag deficiencies are pretty common starting at around week 4 or 5. Epsom salts are fine for the mag but won't address the calcium. For that you will need to add some molasses or a cal/mag supplement. This is especially true when using RO or distilled water. You will need to check the pH of your water, then add enough cal/mag supplement to raise to to about 125 ppm. Then add your nutrients. This is a must if you are using the pH Perfect Canna. In order for it to work correctly the starting ppm must be between 100 - 125.

Also, when using Pro Mix HP or BX, no additional lime is needed unless you are amending it with worm castings, guano or composted manure. It already contains a sufficient amount when used without amendments.

How can I tell the ppms I just received my ecotester ph 2 and it only give me ph 0-14 checked ph of my distilled water 8.3 is that high I thought it was suppost to be nuetural meseared my runnoff of one plant that I flushed its at 6.3 all my nutes an brand are at 7.3 b52 was at 8.3 do I need ph down for my water

Got the ph at 6.3 run off will take pics tomorrow thanks for all the help im going to order a ppm meter I did a little research parts per million and the formula to know how much to add so my plants will absorb the nuts the most efficiency but iff yor plants aren't absorbing all the nutes will it start causing lock out because all off the salts or will they just be wasted and not effect my plants?
