Hello The leaf is an odd shape due to its strain (frisian duck) 2 week flower running it under a led in 50% coco/perlite

Feeding 0.5 ml/L a+b advanced ph perfect coco bloom and all additives at 0.25 ml/L and calimagic at 1 ml a litter as instructions

say. The reason for the low base nutes is if I go any higher my leafs turn dark green and claw at the tips.

Hi Clix, sorry for the delay! ... yeah, I think Ca defc. too,..can you get me a whole plant pic? Also, CaliMagic is 1-0-0, because it's not all carbonate derived,...I think the Mg is a nitrate salt,... odd to have such sensitivity with N, and at 1-0-0, you'd think that wouldn't be a big deal.....what are the NPK#'s on the bloom nute's? meantime, ditch the GH stuff, and switch to something like GO CaMg+, GH's organic version, which is all Ca/Mg carbonates, and nothing else!... good for buffering pH too  ..and up the dosage to double, to treat the defc.,...

I've always had crazy nitrogen sensitivity in every strain I have ever grown. I have to use nutrients at like 1/8 to start and go up to 1/4 as a max lol Except when it comes to cal mag then i never have enuff. I have used GH organic version it threw my ph up to 8.5 after 24 hrs :S and went all gross and flaky stuff in the tank. I'm using advanced nutrients coco 4-4-5 bloom and the additives I use do not have nitro. The plant is in sleepy time so I can't take a pic right now but if you like i have the grow with pics posted in the dutch passion seed section titled Frisian duck here's the link https://www.autoflower.org/index.php?threads/dp-frisian-duck-photo.43046/ thanx for the help :)

..tank..? I thought she's in a fabric pot, stand alone,..? yeah, the organic version is in a fermented sugar base, so I guess it can get funk! LOL... not sure how to account for the pH spike,.. carbonates help buffer pH, preventing such spikes,...are you using pure RO water? Without any native buffering minerals, even small inputs can cause big pH swings, and if there's not enough of them in there, it still won't help much... As for the CaliMagic, I'm positive about the MgNO3 in it,... there are other brands with hydro-specific formulations that won't have the nitrates in them,... I see the nute's are split between 4-0-0 and 0-4-5,... are you following their feeding/blending schedule, more or less, or going "custom" blend? You might want to consult with TaNg, our resident AN expert, about the N issue you're having with every strain you grow using AN nute's,...

Lol thats my bad the nute tank is just what I use to mix up nutes for 3 days at a time and water by hand. I have a bubbler in it to help keep it mixed and full of air. I'm using tap water left out for 24 to 48 hrs. I am following ANs 2 to 1 mixing regime. I do not have a EC or PPM meter but that's my next purchase when I get the money. Yes the Mg in calimagic is Mg.nitrate I was originally hoping it would solve my Mg problem better then the GO calmg+ and it did lol just left me with a Cal issue and nitro issue lol I ve tried using distilled water too. Figured starting from 0 would help same problem. Thanx for the advice I am calling AN this week and if that doesn't pan out I will msg Tang like you said. It's been a long wonder i have had of why the over nitro happens so easily with my grows. I have observed many other have such great success and at doses I can only dream of lol On the other side low use means nutes last longer save money. I can say that my yield and growth suffer though I can never seem to make the girls happy. Thanx again :)

P.S Since the site change over I can't find the +rep thing. Is it here and I m not seeing it lol

Sooooo today some leaves dropped off when barley touched. They do not yellow. Some go crispy some do not. They all discolor interveinal some brownish some get a dark look interveinal as seen in my pics. I took this as Cal deff to begin with but brown spots and crispy leaves have stopped now I get the same style issues on same areas of the leaf but different look and feel now. Could this be a Phosphorus deff or an odd potassium deff? Any help would be appreciated. The only thing nute wise that has changed since I started this thread is I am now using GO cal/mag plus at 2ml/1L isntead of calimagic at 1ML/1L.

Thanx peoples

Oy!! Clix, sorry to see, mate.... the first pics you showed earlier sure looked like the less common manifestation symptoms of Ca defc., that is, more patchy necrosis, and opposed to fine spotting leading the bigger patches,as it advances...color is right too, plus you're in coco,.... dammit! :face: These new ones are spot on for P defc: note the withered muddy green necrosis in big patches? here's a pic -->

...apologies bro', I got fooled! Get some extra P in there right away, maybe even as a foliar spray, to really speed it in there... Can you get me a whole plant pic? foliar is a bit risky past a certain point when in bloom, for potential mold issues, but that can be minimized with careful methods,... meantime, up that bloom dosage! do you have anything else, like a high power P-K booster? Damaged leaves won't recover, so you want to be looking for halting of further symptoms,...

It's Okay I totally thought it was Cal to it looked just like it early on. I suspect I had a little of both solved the cal but it masked thr P. No worries I appreciate the help :) I have Big bud coco its awesome stuff here are some pics they arnt great but the best i can get. Let me know if there are more specific spots you want me to take pics of and I will do close ups and stuff Thanx Waira for all the help :)
