Thinking about trying the GO box which if im not mistaken is fully organic.

Just wondering how many people that use the GO box just add the nutes to their water and don't ph it and how many still ph every feed.

I wanted to make thing's easier and just be able to add the nutes to my water, and then water them...and not have to add tons of drops and test ph for my feeds over and over again.

Thanks for any advice guys :tiphat:

These were grown with General Hydroponics General Organics in MiracleGro soil. My 2nd time ever growing. Before I found AFN.

I really dug them; I'm using Grow More nutrients right now but if I were to go back to a more organic solution; that's where I would head! Minus the MiracleGro, of course.

I followed their nute schedule on their web site, starting at 1/4 strength and working my way up.

I never pH'd with them the time I used them, but I also didn't know better either; so maybe someone else here could offer some better advice on that.

Hope that helps bro; they do work quite well in my opinion!

I've used them in the past with good results. I just didn't like the fish smell from the Marine every time I opened the door to my grow area.

Personally, I would still check and balance the pH. I'd rather keep the plants on track instead of possibly having a lock out situation pop up later on. IMO pH testing is just part of the routine and to me, not a bother.

If you are ever feeling rough after a night out with the boys; just pop the cap off that cold-processed squid bottle and take a deep inhale. Hair will grow where hair has never grown before.   In one of the bottles I had they didn't process the squid enough; I had a MASSIVE piece of tentacle (complete with sucker pods!!!) on it that blooped out into my watering can. Found that out while watering one time and the stream stopped from the watering can. Saw it was blocked, took a coat hanger to the spigot and there it was. Squidward.

I've been running G.O. nutes for a few years.
When I used PromixBx as my medium I never ph'd my solutions.
Got great results.
Now I'm growing in coco, so I am ph'ing my solutions.
I'm a happy camper with the results G.O. have given me in both mediums.
I think depending on your chosen medium, you can go either way.
I also re-impregnate my medium with beneficials (Great White myco) midway through the grow.
My thoughts are the more beneficial bacteria and fungus I have in my medium the more efficiently the roots will be able to uptake the nutrients.
Hope my rambling may help.:Sharing One:

Gross! Reminds me of being in Japan, eating some squid soup and having suckers stuck to the inside of my mouth! :Woozy..?:

Yes, it's the worst smell ever. And I've had some slimy stuff come out of that bottle at times. That being said, I've used G.O. Almost 2 years with no problems. Thought about Advanced Nutrients but haven't done more than that.
