Ok guys, second grow and I still am having the same deficiency / problem. I thought I had it corrected and then I made the flip to 12/12 and all of a sudden two weeks later I'm getting crispy leaves on a sage n sour, the system is 60 gallon rdwc 2 plant system, the other plant a lemon thai kush. What I can't figure out is the kush is a deep beautiful lush green, while the sage n sour looking beat-the-fuck up. Pics are attached. And as always I'm very grateful for any knowledge peeps can lay on me.
Stats:
week 4 flower
ppm 580
ph 5.85
water temp 58
pro bloom pro flowering mix 250ppm
hydroplex 60 ppm
calmag 200 ppm
Sweet raw 40 ppm
Rez swapped every 12 to 14 days.
Sorry I don't have a ec pen yet, working on that.

"Stirring"

Bump

I am not sure, but I can bring attention to your problem.

Maybe be a Cal/mag issue?

Peace

Eek

Water is RO, 6 ppm. My guess too was calmag or phosphorus. I'm thinking it's my nute line, next round I'm thinking about using a quake flakes from h&g, heard nothing but good stuffs bout it.

I'm thinking your water temperature is too low and possibly causing a nutrient lockout. Ideally you want your water to be in the 68 - 70 degree range.

Muddy! Thanks for stoppin by bro. Water temp never occured to me, my first grow I got root rot from too high of temp, water was a 75f. But if it was water temp, wouldn both my ladies be suffering?

Not necessarily as they are different strains. I've got Pineapple Chunk going right now in my RDWC. Two phenos, one is fine, the other has been a struggle from the start. Much more nutrient sensitive than the other pheno.

could be phosphorous, but you're not really getting purple stems. Looks closer to maybe call/mag. Check this site, very complete set of pics and descriptions/diagnosis:

That is one of the reasons I haven't turned my DWC into a RDWC yet. I have all the uniseals and fittings and rez's. I usually grow from seed, I have found even plants that look exactly the same growing up side by side can need pretty different feeding requirements. Right now I have two Skywalkers going that are nearly identical, but one needs it's nutes about 15- 20% lower in EC than the other.
I may change my mind as I gain more experience with DWC, put it seems to me RDWC is best suited to clones from the same mother.
Scale is another factor of course, if I were trying to get 8 plants or more to market, I might be more willing to fuss with trying to find a happy medium for all those rather than multiples of eight. Since my grows are personal I have the luxury of being able to fuss.

I try to keep one strain to a rez. When growing photos.

Thanks for the Input guys, I'll up the calmag to 300 and see if that helps any. Next Rez change is Thursday and puts me in week 5 of flower, this is my first go at rdwc but having used 5 gallon buckets on my first grow this is waaay less fuss.
