i have never done a coco grow before... thank you!

Id personally be careful with other types of coco, its all processed differently, washed, rinsed of salt etc.. a friend grew with coco similar to that and ended up with salt build up problems.
he now uses biobizz coco and has no problems. just my input.

ok guys i was asking becaue i have coco coming in the post by friday but i it will be like a day after i need to plant my seedling in in as its in a root riot cube now and i was just thinking something TEMPORARY for a day or 2 max.. i bought 5kg of botinacare coco cant wait till it gets here to start this all!!
I don't see why you couldn't. It's just coco fibers.

the only time I will be easy is when I'm killed by death

Yip very similar to the brand I used trip just add water and it expands just do as @LED Borg and rinse very well as cheaper brand have salt in them I rinsed mine throughout 4 times its weight and have had no problems as you know it's just good old coco coir

Jus my 2cents..I sometimes buy bricks and they are not buffered or rinsed so I don't see how this would be any different,on the flip side I also buy loose coco some rinsed and buffered and some are not..

i just went out and got some jiffy seedling starter mix and put it in a small pot then at stepside's recommendation i will transplant it into coco/perlite

Eco earth!!! I like it more for growing than I like it for reptiles. Rinse it till you're completely exhausted of rinsing it then rinse it some more. I think they put the lime in that coconut. My monster walter white was grown in it. Great stuff. Don't tell anyone or they will raise the price.

It's a coco coir brick with a fancy label.

I just made a beautiful medium with it. I have three gals in the mix and they are happy as hell, all three showed flowers in 22 days. (pics are two weeks)

I mixed it with 30% perlite.

After you soak the brick and start mixing it, you will flip over the texture. You do have to flush if 3-4 times to begin.

It is my understanding you do not need to monitor the ph of the medium, only the nutes/water.

Gives you 100% control with nutes. I use RO with CAL-MAG, GH Flora Series, Kool Bloom.

I did notice recently that a handful of reputable breeders are now recommending this. I believe Dinafem is one of them.
