the 3 x6 Grey rubber catch tray under the lights it,s off gassing and it smells of rubber in my tent do you think this will harm my plants.....I looked up this number online ASTM D4551. To see if I could read something from the manufacturer about off harmfull off gass but I didn't get anywhere it's designed as the liner for a underneath a tub or shower.... I put it together for 50 bucks I priced a flood try 3x6 about 150 bucks.. Who could blame me for trying to save a penny....lol

Hey brudda! the funky smell is definitely off-gassing from the manufacturing process, likely formaldehyde or something equally obnoxious,... I'm not sure if it will actually be harmful to the plants... food for thought: plants, like pothos ivy and spider plants are sent up into space to help clear the air of similar things from all the electronics, and such,... I don't know what the plants do to these chemicals to break them down, or what they become though...best thing to do is warm it up and air it out like a wet towel... hang it or drape it over something to expose max. surface area until it clear most of it out....

looks to be pvc when i Google that number and pvc is said to kill plants in a grow tent from what i see on the results
