Hey guys i use the general hydroponics ph up..i was wondering if that can cause salt buildup?

Im about to add it to plain RO water without any nutes because im doing a plain water feed and my RO water ph is a bit low...im doing the plain water feed to help rid any salt buildup so just curious can the ph up cause salt buildup or only the nutrients? Thanks.:Sharing One:

Not a problem, fweedom. At least, not in doses that would ever be reasonably used. Its an acid, but way too much of it would whack out your pH, and lock nutes.

thanks for the reply bro, so technically it is capable of causing salt buildup correct?

Only in an extreme scenario.. Way too much pH up, pH goes through the roof, and nute salts are locked out of the plant so they build up. You are not going to use a ton of it, as you depict, so it couldn't in your case.
