Can she be saved

:smoking: fellow gellies,.... :smokeout:

...Ash, I'm not a good hydro guy, so I'll whistle up @MedGrower too help,... Wow, those are advanced symptoms alright! ... and Ca, IMO,.. it's the way the necrosis kinda follows along the lateral veins... otherwise it looks close to Mn defc. too, that tends to be more scattered and patchy....
...:yoinks: whaaahhhh?? No TDS/EC meter-- :nono: :naughtystep:...waaaay naughty Ash! Not that I think this is a nute burn or overall defc. thing, but the uptake info that gives on what you put in, what's there and progressive changes over days can provide clues,.... plus to know your water ppm's! (if applicable)--->
... I figure you're had a good look at the CaliMagic to make sure it's not any kind of cloudy of flocculent? Ditto for your other nutes,... Your water, RO/Di, dechlor'ed tap..?
... was she any kind of mutie, growth aberrations? Sometimes these show odd nute issues starting early on, and they usually don't get better as they mature, worsen when demands increase...
.... the RH% is bad, an exacerbating factor for sure,... it's on the edge zone for the plant to start really shutting down transpiration to preserve water loss, when that happens the nute element highway from roots up pretty much goes parking lot too, which in turn triggers some odd symptoms,....

View attachment 866133 ----- Ca availability over pH in the critical zone is a bitch! It's at a "saddle point" in the optimal zone... Not all these attenuation bar graphs agree perfectly, but the trend I see and what other text recommendations say is 5.8 and few points under is where Ca uptake is best,.. toward 5.8-6.1-ish it gets lousy, then into low 6's it starts to improve again,.. but at that point you're too high pH for hydro in general, so lower is better,...
Ppm meter is on my birthday list lol.
And all of my bottles looked fine. Nothing chunky or moldy looking . or cloudy.
Growth was pretty great. Could tell when she was young she would get big. But has had the rust issues since before she showed sex.
Use tap water. Im sure its not the best as it comes out at 8.3 ph.
Going to get a meter for ppm before i run another dwc girl. Til then im gunna try the coco.
Rh could be the issue as well.
And before i make any crazy changes ill wait til we here from med lol. Seems all guys pointing to him lol.

Thanks for all the input man. Ill have to read it a few more times to digest it. A few things going on atm.
Cheers growbros

I cannot tell from the picture but the cal-mag low uptake might be a root problem are you running Botanicare HydroGuard? If not you should be. PH 5.8 (5.6 - 6.2) and 800 - 1000 PPM make sure these are in range. Mix up a fresh batch of nutrients so you know that everything is in balance. It is so important in DWC to change your water/nutrients out each week. It is all about the Liebig's Law of the minimum. The reason the plant does not appear to be taking up the Cal-Mag could be due to a different nutrient shortage in the "Barrel" so to speak.

Quickly checking and giving my quick analysis is that your main issues here is too much ambient heat causing heat stress and intense light magnifying the Ca need to a point the plant cannot keep up.

Best you can do is run lesser light / further away, try to cool it down some. EC meter is as essential as pH meter in hydro. Better get one soon bro. I'd just up the pH to 6.0 - 6.2 and go from there. Perhaps a little dose of kelp might calm her and make her roots more able to cope with warmth.

Good luck and hope this was any help!
